FOUR'S POV-
It has been almost a year since u came to this part of town. I knock on Christina's door, feeling exhilarated. Her little sister directs me to her room upstairs and I knock softly on the door. The door opens and Christina appears, her long dark legs are in a pair of blue shorts and she's wearing a yellow shirt. It is still hard not to associate the clothes with the factions, though it has been almost six years. "FOUR!" she shrieks and suffocates me with a hug. I smile. I had forgotten how much I had grown to like her. I moved to a different part of town. I had a girlfriend now, and she was amazing, but I still missed just hanging out with my dauntless friends sometimes. She lets me in. "what have you been doing?! I haven't heard from you or seen you in forever!"
"I've got a lot to tell you. But first this- I'm getting married".
She stares at me "Wha- MARRIED?! That's.. that's AMAZING" she squeals, throwing her arms around me again. And then I can't take it anymore. My eyes fill with tears out of nowhere. She pulls way, her grin fading. "What's the matter? Aren't you happy?" she asks, her eyebrows knitting together.
"I- I am." My voice is husky. "She's really great. I love her. I.. I just feel like I'm betraying… her." The pain has reduced over the years, but I still can't say her name easily without feeling like I did all those years ago. Christina sighs. "Tris? You're not betraying her Tobias. You're making her so happy. Because right now, she isn't crying. She's happy that you're getting the life she sacrificed she sacrificed hers to give you. That she sacrificed for all of us. Because that- that is Tris. Brave-"
"And selfless" I finish softly. And slowly, the smile comes back. And she smiles too.
