Sometimes, Severus hated being who he was. Being mean and nasty felt so wrong lately; especially with her.
If only she knew how he really felt about her. If only he could tell her, show her.
How often had he thought about giving up; just changing his whole personality.
What could be wrong about admitting that he admired her and her brilliant mind?
If only he knew how.
Then, suddenly, she looked up, her eyes meeting his, and for a brief second he saw what she knew.
