Losing You Sitting here alone thinking it through

Harry sat on his bed, thinking. He had gone through so much pain these past few years. Voldemort had returned, Sirius had died, Death Eaters attacked the Burrow whilst Harry himself had been staying. They were lucky that they had all gone to the Order for a meeting. Now, his heart was crushed. You see, during his sixth year, him and Ginny Weasley, the most beautiful girl in Harry's life, had agreed to go out with him. They had been in a solid relationship for more than three years and now? Now she had asked if they could 'see other people'. They would still be together, just not always. They were on a break and Harry knew he was losing her. He had shouted at her before for no reason and she had had enough.

Trying to convince myself that I'm not losing you,
Or can't you just forget the things I said,
I was angry at the time but now I cleared my head.
It was so strong, where did it all go wrong?

He had hurt her, that's where it had gone wrong.

So tell me why, I'm swimming against the tide,
and I'm praying for a lifeline,

'Cause I'm, losing you
so tell me why, you took care enough to try,
are you giving up this fight,

I can't stand, won't stand, losing you

Harry jumped up and ran down the stairs of the Order Headquarters. Ginny would still be here, though not for long but she'd be there. He entered the kitchen; several Order members had seated themselves around the kitchen table, some in thought, probably over what had been said at the meeting, whilst others were talking happily. Harry's eyes settled on the wonderful creature sitting at the far end from him. She sat staring into her coffee; Tonks and Hermione were both trying to cheer her up.

Ginny looked up when she felt his eyes on her, they stared into each other's eyes before she broke it the look, turning her face away.

Harry walked around the table slowly and knelt before her. He cupped her face in his hands and made her look him in the eye.

You don't have to say a word it's in your eyes
what can I do to convince you we need more time?
And I know I may have made a few mistakes,
but losing you is just too much for me to take.
It was so strong, where did it all go wrong?

"I'm sorry." Harry whispered to her. "Please, can we just try this again?"

So tell me why, I'm swimming against the tide,
and I'm praying for a lifeline,

'Cause I'm, losing you
So tell me why, you took care enough to try,
Are you giving up this fight,

I can't stand, won't stand, losing you.

"Harry we can't." Ginny whispered back, she had tears in her eyes and so did Harry, he blinked his own tears back as she reached up and stroked his face with her left hand, the other settled on the hand he had on her cheek.

"Why?" Harry asked. "We are perfect for each other."

"Maybe when he's gone we can try this again, it's just too hard." Ginny told him, a lone tear slipped down her cheek and onto his hand. "I'm sorry."

So tell me what to say
Because I need, a chance to change
And I wont let you walk away.

"I love you Ginny." Harry whispered, he leant his forehead against hers and watched a few more tears slip down her cheeks. "I'm sorry for putting you through this, I truly am."

"Don't be." Ginny begged, "Let's just go on hold until he's gone. For the both of our sakes." She held back a small sob, "And remember I love you." With that, Ginny got up and left the room with her head down, Harry just watched her go.

"I will." He whispered before getting up and leaving, feeling the confused eyes of the others following him from the room.

AN: This is a Busted song. I actually like this song (one of the few Busted songs I like) and I'm currently thinking that one-shots seem to be more my thing than big stories. Lol.
