Author's Note: Just an AU fanfic from my usual stuff, in which Toad somehow never met up with Toadette before.
Toad was drinking some soda pop as he was in the local bar in the Mushroom Kingom's popular city of Toad Town, near the western edge as he saw Toadette nearby, munching on some strawberry shortcake.
"Oh my goodness, look how cute she is." Toad stated with both of his hands on his face.
"I think you should go and get-a her-a." Mario suggested as he sat down next to Toad.
"What? Why should I?" Toad remarked as he shook his head, snapping out of his weird funky fungi phase as he opened his eyes. "I don't think I can muster the courage to go and see her."
"She looks fine to me." Bowser added as he placed his cup down on the counter. "Just go up to her and ask if she wants to have a BJ."
"What am I, a fucking narcissist? That girl is me in pink!" Toad exclaimed as he shook his head. "I'm not gonna wanna go and ask her if she wants to be done in by me."
Curious by the conversation, Toadette finished up her strawberry shortcake as she approached the counter, spying Toad as she winked.
"Oh God, she's coming over." Toad stated nervously as he sucked up his drink, dashing out of the bar as he tried not to make contact with Toadette.
Bowser and Mario looked at each other as Dry Bowser came by, cleaning up the counter.
"What was his problem?" Dry Bowser asked while rolling his right boney hand around.
Mario and Bowser shrugged as Toadette sighed, disappointed that Toad didn't bother to take the time to look at her.
