A/N: This is a Klaus and Davina one-shot. Basically in this one Davina and Klaus have a bonding moment after Klaus killed Mikael and Davina tries to convince Klaus that it is ok for him to actually care and let people in instead of making enemies.
Main Pairing: Davina and Klaus
Klaus was at the compound having a drink when he felt someone's presence behind him and he said "Now what do I owe the pleasure of your company, Davina?" And he turns and looks at her.
She just gives him a glare and says "So I heard that you killed your father."
Klaus rolls his eyes and snaps "That man is not my father and he never was." And just gulps the down the rest of his drink.
Davina sets her purse down and sits in a chair in front of him and says "Well he did raise you."
Klaus scoffs and responds as he goes to fill up his glass "He might've raised me but he was no father too me."
Davina rolls her eyes stands up and says "You don't fool me Klaus. He might've been a horrible father to you and tried to kill you for the past 1000 years but it wouldn't hurt you this much for the way he treated you if you didn't care about him." He looks at her and she continues "You wanted nothing more then to get his approval. Klaus whether you want to admit it or not you care about him."
Klaus scoffs and says "Davina, love, why would I care about someone who despised me even before we became vampires and before he knew I wasn't his son. Why would I care about someone who haunted me down for 1000 years so he could kill me."
Davina shakes her hand and says "You know Klaus it is ok to care about people I mean you care about your daughter and you are obsessed with protecting her so it is ok to care about other people. You don't want to admit it but it hurts you cause of the way people treat you. You don't trust people easily and you prefer to make enemies then to let people in because you are scared to let people see the good in you. I know your humanity isn't completely gone cause if it was you wouldn't care what people think of you. So go ahead and push people away make enemies but you aren't fooling anyone cause you have feelings just like everyone else. Elijah thinks you can be redeemed from everything you have done and he wouldn't think that if he thought you weren't worth saving."
Klaus scoffs takes a sip of his drink and asks "Davina why do you care? I mean you were the one that brought back Mikael so he can kill me."
Davina smiles "I did do that cause I wanted to get revenge for what you have done to me and to Josh and everyone else but no matter what I feel about you there people who actually care about you and wouldn't want to see you dead. But Klaus sometimes you don't give anyone a reason why they should care about you." She grabs her purse and walks to the door turns around and says "You know Klaus maybe if you put as much effort into helping and protect people as you do to torture and to hurt people then maybe you will have a lot more people on your side and instead of against you and then maybe people would stop thinking of you as evil all the time." And she walks out leaving Klaus with something to think about.
A/N: It probably isn't that good but it is something I thought of and I always wish for Davina and Klaus to bond and be on the same side instead of enemies. But I hope it is good.
