Goodbye...
"I must make it home!" shouted Night, while he flew back to Ponyville "I must make it!"
"Don't worry mom….Night's going to make…" said Light, as she tried to give her mother a reassuring smile
"Its…..its…alright…." mumbled Twilight, Twilight's health wasn't the best these past days. Twilight had gotten very ill, she was hospitalized only a few weeks ago; Light and Night hope their mother will improve, but Twilight knows her time has come.
"MOM!" shouted Night, as he busted into his mother's room "Mom…"
"Nightwing…"smiled the dying Twilight, as she tried to lift her hoof
"Mom! I'm sorry…I'm late…." He said, as Night held his mother's hoof
"As long…as you're here right now" said Twilight, as she smiled at her son and daughter
"The doctor said you had improved!" said Light, as she tried to hold back her tears
"My….my time has come" said Twilight
"Don't say that!" shouted Night, as tears started to form "Mom….mom you're going to be okay….."
"I can…..I'll finally be able to see your father again…" said Twilight, Flash had died only a few months ago; but it seemed like an eternity.
"Mom! Please don't say things like that!" said Night, as he look away; tying to hid his tears from his mother and sister
"Nightwing…just listen to what I have to say" said Twilight
"Night just listens" Light said, while she held her mother's other hoof
"I'm so proud of both of you…your father and I…..both of you have done amazing things and found love. Made your father and I grandparents…we couldn't be any prouder….`Cough`….so proud" said Twilight, as she could feel her heart slowing down, she could no longer feel any pain; Twilight was at peace.
"We love you so much…." Cried Light
"Mom…I'm so sorry for that stupid argument we had!" Night said, while tears feel onto the bed
"Shhh" mumbled Twilight, as she gently touch Night's cheek "I'm not mad about it….Night…..`Cough!`….don't think about the arguments you had with us…..just think about the happy moments we shared. Your father, sister, you and I….all the moments we had has a family, cherish those moments and share them"
"Please don't leave us!" pleaded Night, as he rub some tears away "Please!"
"We all have to go…..Night…my time has come…..and one day it will be yours" said Twilight, her very last motherly advice "Your children and grandchildren…will be in the same place has you"
"Goodbye…goodbye…..mom…..!" cried Light, as she hug her mother for the very last time in her life "I love you so much"
"Don't ever doubt yourself…..you're a great mother, wife…and…and mare" whispered Twilight, as she gave Light a light kiss on the cheek. Light pulled back from the hug, tears still falling from her cheeks; Light gave a small smile.
"I'm going to miss you so much!" said Night, as he embrace his mother
"You've done so much…..so much for everypony…Night enjoy life…`Cough!`…your father would be so proud of what you've become…..just like me" whispered Twilight, as she kissed him on the cheek as well
"Al…alright…" mumbled Night
"Take…..take care of each other…..be there for each other…..I love you both so much…." Twilight closed her eyes, she took her last breath; Princess Twilight Sparkle had died.
"We…we love you too….!" Cried Night, while he held his sister in his hoof "Both of you"
(Night and Light's family already said their goodbyes, so that's why none of them were in this short story)
