Marcel stands before Rebekah, in his hands are her slender ones. He can see that she's avoiding any type of eye contact. Why can't she look him in the eye? Accept the fact that truly cares for her. How many times has he told her repeatedly? He always comes off as the jerk in the story. The ex that only wants her back when things don't go his way…. He's trying to change her mind….
Yet, each time he attempts to reach out; she pushes him away. Rejecting his declaration of love; out of fear? Out of spite? He doesn't know.. All he does know that without her; he has no love. No warmth without her beside him.
It's been several centuries that he's been a bit loony for her. Always chasing after her. Repeating the cycle over and over again. What does he get? Yes, he gets attention; just not the attention he wants. She only pays attention to him.. Just to make him suffer. Why can't she give him the affection he wants…. Affection that he's willing to give to her… if she accepts him again.
There is no love… it has ended for her… but he can't feel anything without her. She is his queen whether she wanted to or not. He's a poor devil that fall in love with someone who may or may not accept him back into her life after all the damage he's done.
