Transparent Jaguar
By Ryocha
Silent and transparent,
Eyes like a jaguar.
Lurking in the undergrowth of human life
Like a newborn kitten, not knowing its full potential.
Yet what would happen if this jaguar were placed in a New World?
One where its paws were not chained down by manners and pity,
Heart and Civility,
Love and Equality.
Why don't we find out? Whipsered one of the Gods to another.
Yes, A devilish grin glinted dangerously, Let's do it together!
And so when this jaguar fell into its New World from the sky,
It blinked and looked around curiously.
The two Gods watched on curiously,
Watching.
Waiting.
Anticipating.
Over time, this jaguar grew wild.
Its eyes dilated,
Displaying the physical proof that civilization was no more.
The two Gods exchanged pleased looks.
This jaguar was like a puppet on strings, only now the strings were cut,
Exposing the animal beneath matted black fur.
Wild.
Yes, this jaguar was wild now.
Stalking.
Watching.
Waiting.
This jaguar used to be but a kitten,
But now it has turned into a tiger.
Roger.
