I didn't open my eyes for what seemed like forever.

The room was small and bare, lit dimly by a single blinking bulb.

I was slumped in a grotty corner; wallpaper peeled from the walls around me and scratch marks lay where previous prisoners must have scrabbled desperately in a plight for freedom.

There were no windows and the only possible exit was a steel door in the far corner.

Last night I was attacked, I don't know what by, but it was strong, fast, and definitely not human, not that that's strange to me or anything.

So one moment I'm alone in this scabby little cell, the next, well, I'm not.

There was this person there, just for a second, a flash and the white form of a person, looked like a little girl but I didn't have time to make it out before it was gone.

Then I hear the sound of the bolts on the door grinding back, painfully slowly, like nails down a chalk board, the door started to open and the tension was killing me, my heart was beating so fast I thought it was gonna rip right outta my chest and run away, then she was there, stood there, smiling at me, looked kinda evil, yeah I was scared, thought I was gonna die!

She walked towards me like I'm her latest meal and keeps getting closer till her face is inches from mine; she had fangs, big fangs.

Her eyes were hollow, but when she looked at me something in them flickered, pity perhaps, was that pity?

I guess I musta looked kinda bewildered, I know I was a mess, cuts and bruises everywhere, she smiled at me, sad this time, and held out her hand.

Fin.
