Challenge: Dialogue only between Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley.

"Ron?"

"Yes, 'Mione?"

"Do you think Harry and Ginny will get back together? I think they should. I mean, after all, it's obvious that they love each other."

"Yeah…"

"You sound weird."

"What do you mean by 'weird'?"

"I mean…that you sound 'weird'."

"Well…I know they love each other, it's clear that they love each other, but they don't need to be in a relationship right now…not with the war, anyway."

"But what if…what if one of them…what if…"

"One of them dies?"

"I was trying not to be so blunt, but yes."

"Hermione…it's their choice. It's what they want."

"Ron, Ginny cries all the time, and Harry doesn't sleep anymore. Do you really think that being apart is what they want?"

"Yes."

"Well, obviously, you're blinder than I thought you were!"

"Bloody hell, 'Mione! Why are you getting so upset? It's not even your love life, and you're freaking out over nothing!"

"Nothing? Nothing, Ronald?"

"Well…if I say it's a little something, are you going to hex me anyway?"

"Yes."

"Well, then, it's still nothing, seeing as how I'm going to get cursed any—BLOODY HELL WOMAN! That HURTS!"

"I don't have my wand, so I'll have to settle for pinching you."

"Damn it! Why are you so upset over this? Like I said, it has nothing to do with us!"

"…us?"

"I mean…er…you…"

"You said 'us,' Ronald."

"No I didn't!"

"Yes you did!"

"Did not!"

"Did too!"

"Did not!"

"Did too!

"You're hearing things, Hermione!"

"Just admit that you said it, and I'll let it alone!"

"No!"

"Why not?"

"Because I never said it, that's why!"

"Yes, you did!"
"Will you just drop it already?"

"No! Ronald, I won't drop it until you admit that you said it!"

"Bloody hell! What's it gonna take to get you to shut up?"

"Nothing! Like I said, I'm going to keep asking until you admit that the word 'us' came out of your mouth! What is it, Ron? Wishful thinking, maybe?"

"Now, don't go assuming--"

"Well, that's how it sounds, so I'll just have to assume!"

"Fine!"

"Fine!"

"I don't care!"

"Neither do I!"

"…"

"Hermione?"

"Yes?"

"I said 'us.'"

"I know."

"You wanna know why?"

"Yes, Ron, I do."

"Because it was wishful thinking."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"…Ron?"

"Yeah?"

"I hate to sound like a prude, but why not just come out and admit when you've done something? It's not like it would've hurt, you know, to just…"

"Wanna hear me admit something, 'Mione? I just kissed you."

"Really?"

"Yeah."
