In an excluded location outside the state of New York, hidden amongst the greenery, there is a S.H.I.E.L.D. facility. There members of the organization train new recruits and prepare for their next mission. They eat, sleep, and work there. Lately, HYDRA has been a little too quiet for General Fury's liking. So, he has taken it upon himself to assemble a new task force. He only needs six members and a few mentors – easy enough.

"Do you think this will work?" The woman questioned as she glanced at the files before her. Six files lay open on a gray conference table in General Fury's office. The woman had been called in, seated at the table, and briefed on the situation.

"Do I think this will work?" General Fury snorted at her question. "Hell yes, this will work."

"Alright, if you say so." The woman sighed as she brushed a strand of crimson hair behind her ear. She quickly stood up and collected the files. "I imagine Clint will be happy to get back to work."

"True. That farm of his can't be that entertaining," Fury quietly mused as he turned away from the S.H.I.E.L.D. agent.

"It's not the farm that keeps him there, you know." The agent corrected, before she began to leave the office, files in hand. "Oh, and should I get the whole team? Or will Clint, Cap, and I be enough?"

"Hm, no." General Fury hummed as a mischievous smile spread across his face. "It'll be more interesting if everyone is present for this."

First task: gather the mentors. Second task: gather the recruits. Third task: put them together and pray for the best.

Well, I'm back! And I don't know about you guys, but I'm craving some crime fighting and superhero booty. So, I decided why not have a go at a SYOC one more time. This story will focus more on the forming of and interactions between the team. There will be action (crime fighting), but also a lot of chaos (and drama) within the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization.
