There aren't enough Non-evil ganondorf stories out there so here we go.
Premise: 20 years before Calamity Ganon was defeated, Ganondorf was born. Having lived most of his life in hiding, he greets Hyrule as Ganondorf, The Man. Not Ganondorf, The King.
A lonely woman was being rushed to a horse stable in the middle of the night. She didn't want to give birth any place other than Gerudo Town, but she had over extended her trip to Hateno Village. She had only gone initially to dye clothes for her baby, as all Gerudo clothing was female oriented. Her name was Saforah, and she was giving birth to the first Gerudo male in centuries.
How did she figure this out, you ask? Why, the Calamity itself told her! She had dreams of an overbearing power being held back by what seemed like a teenage girl. She didn't really care anyway. She was giving birth to the Ganondorf. The one who would bring the Gerudo clan from an asset to a dominating power between the races! Her son would bring her riches and fame within Gerudo Town and maybe even a place close to Lady Rusa!
As the carriage approached Riverside Stable, she was crying because of how much it hurt. The only thing she remebers was a few hylians talking and tremendous pain.
When Saforah awoke, she was greeted by two hylians, but she was too weak to protest them being in here vicinity. She fell asleep again, forgetting all about the reason why she was there in the first place.
"Wake her up. She's been sleeping for two days, she needs to eat." Said a female voice.
"What she needs is rest, she just gave birth, for Hylia's sake." A disgruntled male said.
"She still needs to wake up to her baby. Speaking of…"
She gestures to tightly wrapped blanket sitting on a pillow.
"That baby cries every time we get close to him. It's like he knows that we aren't his mother."
"What a perceptive baby, he even knew that she was sleeping."
"Can we talk about the obvious, that baby is a Gerudo, and he's male! You know what that means!?" A scared male voice said.
"Yes, but he's only an infant, and is not responsible for his ancestor's sins."
"But-"
"No buts. We are not harming a baby."
"You're right sorry."
"Please don't hurt him." A weak voice said in the corner.
The hylians turned around to see a Saforah trying stand up to protect her son.
"Miss, can you sit down. We are not going to do anything to him."
"Do you know who I am?"
"No, but i'm Garret and she is Lela."
Saforah rose to her full height and grasped the bed frame to keep her balance.
"I am Saforah, mother of Ganondorf and savior of the Gerudo people!"
After a few awkward seconds, Garret spoke.
"How can you be a savior if your son is doing all the work?"
"I brought him here, didn't I?"
She then tried to walk to see her child. She picked him up and held him to her bosom. Ganondorf smiled at his mother.
"My precious son, you are all I have left. The goddesses gave you to me and I won't make them regret it."
She cradled his face and immediately started shaking. All of Ganondorf's past lives and deaths flashed in her memory. She found just enough strength to let go before she passed out.
"And I will not see my son die!"
Hope you guys liked that. This is prologue. Next chapter we'll see her leaving the stable and more.
