Though the years
We start out first as childhood friends
And plan on staying like that till the end
Then after a while crushes arise
These feelings took us by surprise
A few years later we tell each other, "I love you"
That we're each other's number one
Then we kiss
And our relationship has begun
High school comes and things are great
Every weekend we have dates
College comes and things are fine
I have my man, and he's all mine
Year pass and our love runs for miles
As we now walk down the aisle
Our anniversary comes
And my gift is a dove
To represent our love
We've been together through the years
Our love can't be beat
We make each other whole
We make each other complete.
