Five Nights of Fear… At Freddy's…

Chapter 0 (Registration): The Fate is sealed.

"This must be it!" Mike exclaimed as he was greeted by huge blackboard which read 'Welcome to Freddy Fazbear's Pizza'.

The building itself was rather worn out after not having maintenance for a pretty long time. Nevertheless, the restaurant was relatively well known for its famous pizza 'The FazPiz' which is very popular with the locals.

Mike couldn't understand why a pizza restaurant will need a security guard to take care of. Two days ago when he was browsing through the daily newspaper to search for a job which could get him a decent pay, it is the job here which interests him the most. Five Nights for hundreds of bucks, there's no better deal out there.

Or so he thought…

Mike leaned against the swing glass door which cause a golden door chime to sing.

"Hey, your order?" A plump elder in his 60's approached the young man.

"Um no, I am looking for a part time job." Mike replied as he hands over the newspaper to the elder.

"I see… It's nice to have young chaps like you to help us out in the security management. By the way, I'm Fred."

"No it's nothing. I'm just here to fill up my empty pocket that's all. Anyway, isn't it funny for a restaurant owner like you to be concerned about security issues?"

Mike asked out of pure curiosity as he urgently waits for a response.

"Ah, weird things always occur at night, especially crimes and stuffs. Better to be safe than sorry!" he chuckled.

Being in a commercial area, this district is also known for its high crime rate where there are occasional robbery and several pickpocket cases. Hence, having security guards are somewhat understandable. But even so, this restaurant appears to be the only shop who hires a security guard. Even the jewellery shop right beside it does not have such security precautions.

Erasing his school of thoughts, Mike reaches out his right hand to call for a deal.

"Alright, count me in!"

"Then it's settled then. Before you begin your night shift, here's an envelope from the previous security guard. He is quite experienced but left the job long ago and wanted me to pass this to the next guard. The details I'm not too sure."

"Okay, then I'll be heading to the security room then."

"Wait, I'm not done yet!" Fred interrupted. "Do take care of yourself, the job is not easy as it seems."

"Thank you sir, definitely will." Mike gave out a comforting smile and started moving.

As Mike walked toward the security room via the eastern corridor, he could somehow feel the ominous aura of uncertainly which encapsulated him. As for what awaits, remained unknown to him.
