Hey guys! This is Caterina and I've started to write this story. The story will be flashbacks and some present time at the beginning! Hope you guys enjoy and R&R. I don't own the vampire diaries but I do own my OC.
1862
Caity St Claire sat outside of her family's plantation in Mystic Falls, Virginia. Caity was considered the most beautiful girl in the town. She had long, sun streaked, wavy blonde hair that shone in the sun, her deep greyish blue eyes were always sparkling and her tan skin made her look substantially more beautiful than any other girl in the town.
Caity sighed and closed her book, "Withering Heights", and ran her hand up and down the leather binding. She had borrowed it from one of her best friends, Stefan Salvatore. The Salvatore Family and her Family had been close since the town was built. Stefan, Caity's best friend, was a polite child and very handsome but was 4 years younger than Caity herself. However Damon, the eldest Salvatore, was only 3 years older than her and she was very fond of Damon. He was rash and soulful, but he was also a charmer of the ladies.
Caity got up, lifting her exquisite blue dress which was adorned with beading on the top of the dress, and walked toward the Salvatore plantation. When she arrived she knocked on the tall black metal door 3 times and waited for a response. The Salvatore family maid came to the door and allowed Caity in while she called for Stefan and Damon.
Stefan came running down the stairs and picked up a squealing Caity in his arms and spun her around before finally come to a stop and putting her back down on her feet.
"Hello Miss Caity!" He said with a smile place on his face. His big green eyes were twinkling in happiness.
"Mr. Salvatore." I said in a mock serous voice as a curtsied to him.
"Caity, what brings you here?" A voice said from behind me. I turned to see Damon standing there a smirk on his face. Damon and I had always been close friends but not as close as Stefan and I had been.
"I missed my boys. Is that an acceptable reason?" I said with a mock pout on my hair trying my best to look innocent. He smiled and kissed my hand.
"Like I would turn down a visit from you!" He said smiling and giving me a tight hug.
Damon woke up with a start. It had been years since he had seen Caity's face, heard her voice or touched her skin. Even though it was a dream it felt so real to Damon. Damon got out of bed, jumped into the shower and pulled on some clothes.
"Good morning Stefan." Damon said as he walked down the stair pulling out a blood bag from the fridge.
"Good morning Damon." Stefan said politely in return.
Damon made his way out of the house toward the mystic grill. He sat himself by the bar and looked out at the crowd. There had to be a desperate woman in here that would take his mind off of Caity. A blonde, tan with blue eyes. That was the criteria. He found one and slowly stalked up to here.
"Hi." He said in his sexy voice.
"Hi" The blonde said back. She had obviously had one to many drinks at the bar.
Desperate.
"Come with me." Damon compelled the girl as he led her to his car. And slowly began to kiss the girls neck. Blondie, the girl, whatever her name was, let out a low throaty moan. Damon slowly bit into her neck and the girl let out a shriek but Damon kept biting not caring much is he killed her before the end of the night.
