The Peabody twins'- Sean and Sherman- had another great day of school. The two were very happy children who were humbly rich, lived with the smartest being that ever roamed the Earth, and had bountiful amounts of friends, whose parents' were good friends with their adoptive father, such as, Madison Pettis, the tomboyish gymnast (a.k.a. Sherman's massive crush); Penny Peterson, the flamboyant girl who loves hanging out with Maddys, Sherman, and Sean; Alvin Seville and his younger brothers, the mischievous rockstars; The Chipettes', the most glamourous virtuoso chipmunks the world has ever met; and so much more!
But I'm sorry to say their misfortune began that very day. A misfortune that had shadowed upon them because of a-
"Bus riders!" screamed the intercom as it was dismissal. "Bus riders, the bus is here!"
The bus riders, most of Sean and Sherman's friends, left the classroom and bid their downtempo teacher goodbye.
Sean and Sherman sat by their best friends, Penny Peterson and Madison Pettis.
"Hey, Sherman!" said Maddys, brushing curly brown hair from her eyes. She wore a grey double-breasted short blazer with black linings, a white shirt under the blazer, skinny black jeans, Vans Milton high-tops, had her crystal necklace around her neck, and her inherited satin hair ribbon tied around her belt loop. Maddys looked a lot like twelve-year-old Madison Pettis (just pretend Madison Pettis isn't real in that world) but with longer curly hair. She had a pretty mixed appearance and medium-length eyelashes.
"Hi, Maddys." Sherman tugged his collar belonging to his plaid T-shirt and under the plaid T-shirt was a black T-shirt, very similar to his old white shirt.
"Hi, Penny." Sean smiled.
"Hi, Sean! I can't wait for the baby shower!" Penny smiled. Penny's hair, when she was seven and younger, didn't really pass her back and her bangs were always swept behind her ear. But because she was eleven now, she had changed her physical appearance. Her hair, as shiny as satin, wasn't completely blonde anymore. In fact, over the summer, she dyed it dirty blonde and put some of it into thick, perfect braids ried by pink and black ribbons. And as for her bangs, she let it cover her left eyes but usually, she'd pin it to the side with a colorful pin. Her signature outfit now was a black jean jacket with hot pink sleeves and a hood, under that was a grey and purple striped shirt, skinny blue jeans, white socks, and black stylish flat sandals. Her eyelids were coated in purple eyeshadow, but only for the top lids. She also put on bloody red lipstick and black eyeliner… only on the top lids. And lastly, instead of a black headband, she had a black ribbon tied in her hair.
"Penny, Maddie's mom's baby shower for her sixth kid isn't till November. It's August!" Sean said, buttoning his T-shirt with a laughing emoji on it.
"Wall Str-" said the bus driver. She stopped and gazed sadly at the Peabody twins'. Kids stared at them as they hopped off the bus and climbed up the mansion steps to their home. The mansion steps to the burnt remains of their home.
Author's Note: I know the story is sad and the chapter is short, but trust me, the series will get better! Please review!
