"KF! Wake up! You're making weird noises." Robin yelled, pushing onto Kid Flashes chest.
Wally woke up, panicked from the sbrupt awakening. Hi jaw was sore, and his mind was groggy, trying to figure out the situation.
"Huh?" The articulate speedster muttered, sitting up and cradeling his head in his hands, as he woke up with a massive migraine.
"You were sleeping, and making these wrid grinding noises. I just wanted to make sure you weren't broken," Robin said cooly, trying to hide his embarrassment
"Oh that? I, uh, I grind my teeth when I sleep at night. Or in the day, apperently. I'm not suppose to sleep without it. I have TMJ, or something like that."Wakky said with a shrug, sheilding his eyes from the light. The headache would subside in a few, even faster if the lights were not so obnoxiously bright in the room.
"Oh, that makes sense, So you sleep like a football player, huh? You must go through those fast. How do you even get one?" The Boy Wonder was just curious, probably wanted to add to his memory storage in case it was useful for profiling Wally in the future.
"Yeah. I think they make them at dentist's, but we don't have the money to replace it every month or so. We just get the boil and bite ones. Work's fine." Wally, got up abruptly, uncomfortable just as he always was when he had to metnion his families wealth status.
He went to go raid the kitchen for whatever food was there, hoping food would get rid of his heacache. He really needed to stop taking naps, they seem to require more maintance after waking than just staying awake.
Robin followed him into the room, and sat on the counter as he watched Kid Flash prepare a sandwich. The hungry teen took a huge bite out of the sandwhich, and offered a bite to Robing. Robin politely turned up his nose, the idea of a whatever may be in the fridge sandwich not a very appealing one.
"What time is it? Where is everyone?"KF asked through a moutful of food.
"Midnight? I assume they are all sleeping." Wally stopped and stared at the younger boy, completly confused.
"Why are you awake? And here? And why did you wake mee up? Man, that means I've been asleep for...eight hours? Gah, I'll never be able to sleep."
"I was going to leave you alone, but you were making those strange noises. Actually, I just woke up and was on my way to patrol with Batman."
" Can I come? I could probably stop five villains in the time it takes you to stop one!"
"I don't know... I'd hate to see you all disspaointed when you fail to catch a single criminal."
"I swear I'll be good. I won't push you of a building or anything."
"Fine. You're going to have to deal with Batman, though. If he gets mad, you followed me on your own. Best to feign sleepwalking, that way he doesn't get too mad. Meet us...on top of the abandoned bank on 54th and Kennedy." Robin waved a farewall as he left for the Zeta tubes, leaving wally to finish his sandwich an make it to the building before the Dynamic Duo gets there. Headache or no headache, he wouldn't pass up this sort of oppurtuntiy to possibly work with the Bat. Hopefully, he won't be too mad.
