AN: The idea came from the merlin forums again and maybe the fact i've drunk 2 litres of fizzy sugary drinks and was getting shouted at by housemates for jumping on my bed

"Isle of The Blessed by arse" Merlin muttered as the boat steadily moved forward though the fog. "Isle of Fog And Damn Creepiness is more like it" the things he did for Arthur, seriously he was going to die for the prat who didn't give a damn because 'oh no Arthur was being a damsel in distress...well damsel in death again and no one but Merlin can save him'. He also happened to be near unconscious but still.

"I had so much I wanted to do" he huffed "Wind up Arthur, see magic legalised, visit the stocks once more, get Arthur drunk...put him in bed with Lancelot...I knew I should have taken that chance" he pouted slightly then looked up as a shadow fell over him and a large ship was hover him

"Aye lad!" a voice called and he blinked up at the rather oddly dressed man with even odder long hair "Can ye' t'll me w'ere we be?"

"Near the Isle of The Blessed?"

"Ah" the man frowned at the map he held "Wha' is t'e year lad?"

"489 of our lord" he called slowly

"Aye...D' ye' know t'e way ta t'e 11th century?"

"Uh...No sir"

"What be ye name?"

"Merlin sir"

"Merlin aye" he nodded to himself "Names Jack, Cap'ian Jack Sparrow...Savvy?"

"Savvy?" he nodded unsurely

"Goo' luck young lad...Merlin" he tipped his cap off and the boat moved off the man's, pirates, voice floating off hauntingly "Fifteen men on a dead man's chest

"Odd...but I have seen odder" Merlin muttered thinking of Sparky who what having some anger issues, but being in that cave must be hard for a manipulative Dragon.
