The rain just doesn't seem to end; no matter the times the children sing the catchy song of the rainmaker. It's pointless for the clouds doesn't seem to want to go away; it doesn't end for anything at all either since it was raining since yesterday evening. It's now morning, early. Six o-clock to be exact so why even bother with the rain if it doesn't dare to drop anything but rain?

I'll tell you why.

We're in the Rio in the raining season and I plan to stay here until I'm either moved because of family issues or it floods and I absolutely have to fly away. If it's not the case then I will remain where I seated; until someone has the case for me.

Right now all I get called to is just drug busts and something to do with the Mafia. I'm not concern about drugs. I more or less enjoy finding things; either if it's a loved one or jewels, and I bring them home where they belong.

However I don't mind taking cases that involve murder, theft, or anything of the matter. So I'm open for cases to be filed in and solved for literally nothing! (My salary is paid for by Tax payers...) I sat at my desk for the time being.

Oh silly me! I forgot to introduce myself!

I am Detective Tiago Gunderson. I work for the justice department of the Police; homicide division if you didn't guessed. Not the best paying job but it gives me that thrill and puts food in my beak, unlike some other jobs I can be bothered to even answer or apply.

Right now, as probably said above. I'm sitting at my desk going over and reviewing the previous cases I have done in the past. They where easy if you knew what you where doing, but for a well trained detective like me. You got it done within a week or less! Enough bragging for one day Tiago! You're no different than any other detective in the facility!

I brought my talon to my coffee mug and pulled it closer to my face and took a sip. Why be so stressed if I can't even buy myself a cup of hot coffee?

I nearly gulped when a pigeon, Sgt. Cowell, slapped a document bon my desk. I look up tactfullt and awaited his long overdue speech.

What surprised me is that he didn't say anything. But walked off.l, not even a usual "How's the family?" I read over the paper and grab my trench coat.

Looks like I've been selected for a rainy day of crime.
