(This one shot is rather... interesting.)
She was an orphan. The nun found her outside the door, wrapped in a blanket. When the little girl opened her eyes, the woman saw eyes made of gold.
Fly away, little girl, freedom is outside the door.
The nuns quickly discovered why she was abandoned. There were tiny, white wings on her back. They decided she was either an angel from God or something from the devil, so they decided that they must make her be an angel.
Poor little girl, stuck in a place where she must be what they make her to be.
They named her Angela. Angela grew fast, and her wings did as well. Sister Helen, or Nellie as most called her, supervised her and took care of her. Sister Nellie always made sure to emphasize the fact that Angela must be perfect. Otherwise she would have no other purpose in life.
Why do they tell her this? Because they fear what they don't understand.
Angela was dutiful and obedient. She listened to Nellie's every word like she was God herself. But she wondered... why did the nuns insist that Angela hide her wings? If she was an angel, shouldn't she show that she was?
They don't understand.
Angela had never been outside the convent. Every night, she would go onto the roof and stare at the stars and moon. She wanted to fly.
Should she try?
It happened when Angela was ten years old. She decided to try out her small wings. She climbed to the roof and took off. At first, she began to fall. But her instincts kicked in, and she flew. It was amazing. Absolutely breathtaking.
For once, she had something that she had never felt before. Freedom.
Angela flew for almost three hours. When she landed, Sister Nellie was waiting- and she wasn't happy. She dragged Angela off by her ear and the whole convent scolded her. All that yelling... all that screaming. They said she was not from heaven.
They didn't know. They didn't know what flight felt like.
Angela was locked into her room and ordered to wait there until they decided what to do. Angela decided she wouldn't wait.
She flew away.
No one can keep angels locked up for long, after all.
Angela died.
Angel lived on.
(Really. Really creepy.
But hey, its awesome. For people that don't know though, Angel was one of the students in HIVE academy, red top and blue skirt, attacked Bumblebee with Punk Rocket in the Brotherhood of Evil incident.
Bye byes, remember to review!)
