/I've never seen that much blood before./ Naruto replied carefully.
He sighed as Kyubi fell silent, then. /It was your fault, if you weren't
inside me they wouldn't have attacked./
Naruto, I'm sorry.Kyubi said and a sudden pain filled Naruto.
I'll leave, if it will make you happy.Naruto gasped as he felt Kyubi
vanish.
/Kyubi? No, please don't go. I can't live without you./ Naruto said
but Kyubi was already gone. Naruto sighed as he laid down in bed.
The Sixth Hokage had allowed the villagers to try and kill him and
he'd had to fight back, several villagers died before they backed off,
then not even Konohamaru would get close to him. The next day
Naruto went slowly to the bridge for training, only to be met by ten
Anbu ninjas.
"Uzumaki Naruto, we have orders directly from the Sixth Hokage
to destroy you at all costs. Prepare to die." The Anbu leader said.
"Careful, if you kill him you might free the Kyubi. You know that
seal requires life force to stay active." Kakashi said appearing behind
them, the Anbu gasped.
"We didn't realize that." The leader said.
"You better warn the Sixth Hokage then, before he sends anyone
else after Naruto." Kakashi said, as soon as the guards left he walked
up to Naruto. "She cried herself to sleep last night, she thinks you
hate her." Naruto gasped now and looked at his teacher.
"How did you know?" Naruto asked, Kakashi left a note telling
Sasuke and Sakura that training was canceled and led Naruto to his
house. Inside Kyubi lay asleep, dried tears staining her fur. Naruto
curled up in Kyubi's paws, waking the white fox.
"Naruto? What are you doing here?" Kyubi asked, looking at the
child with her.
"I could never hate you Kyubi. You've protected me my whole
life, when I yelled at you, I was still recovering from the attack.
Please, don't leave me again." Naruto whispered, crying slightly.
Kyubi gently licked his face.
"Of corse my cub, I'll always be there for you." Kyubi said gently.
She laid her head on top of Naruto's and the two soon feel asleep.
"Why is my family always so weird? My older sister destroyed half
a village looking for her cub, and my nephew is the only kid around
who never wants his mother to leave. Sleep tight you two, something
tells me this is only the beginning." Kakashi said quietly to himself.
