Eve couldn't really explain it, the shade of the tree plus the grass plus the cool breeze, just equaled magic for her. She hummed in her contentment. Eve relaxed and even fell asleep right there under the maple tree. It was her special place, she was sure only Elesis knew about it. Her dogs, Moby and Remy, curled up at her right side. They were her black and white Labradors that were always with her. They fell asleep also.
"You know, sleeping outdoors could be dangerous."
Eve's eyes shot open and she was staring into the violet eyes of none other than Add, who was now holding Remy. Eve glared at him.
"Hello Add. Are you here to challenge me to a programming competition?" She lay there.
"No." His white hair was up in his usual ponytail. He was now just looking at her, appraising her facial features. Eve blushed a deep red. Add laughed.
"Aww, you're so cute when you're embarrassed." He leaned back, missing Eve turn even darker.
"Sh-shut up." She stammered, covering her face with her hands. She felt Add's face move closer to her own. He gently took her hands and removed them from her face and held them.
"Hey," He said gently, which shocked Eve, he wasn't this gentle around the others. "Eve? Are you alright?" Eve took a moment to respond because the look on Add's face was concerned, not at all like he normally was.
"…Yeah. Wait a minute, how do you know about this place? I was sure only Elesis and I hung out here," she raised an eyebrow.
"I actually come here a lot. It's a wonderful place," he looked up at the willow tree. "Nature is beautiful…" He trailed off looking back down at her.
"Yeah…" He just smiled gently at her. Eve had to admit that Add was actually very handsome. He was also a snappy dresser. She realized that he was actually very attractive. He leaned closer to her face.
"Hey," Eve could now feel his breath on her face. "May I kiss you?" That took her aback. Her yellow eyes widened, her hand tried to go to slap him, but instead she just settled for leaning closer to him, snagging a kiss from him. He smiled against her lips. When they parted she scooted to have her head on his lap.
"You know, nature might be beautiful, but not as beautiful as you." Add twiddled her hair in his fingers. She hummed contentedly.
"Does this make us dating? Or are you just playing with me?" Eve tried to get up but Add stopped her. He grabbed her hands again, gripping them tightly, like she would slip away if he let go.
"It means I love you. It means that I want us to be dating." He had his hair in front of his face. Eve gently smiled.
"That's good Add. I love you too. Now, you can stop sulking and let me be happy you're now not going to try and one-up me on everything."
"I did not try and one-up you on everything." He stroked her hair.
"Yes you did. Add, you have long white hair, much like mine. You sat next to me so you could watch me code and to do a better code than the one I was working on." Eve huffed.
"I wasn't trying to; I want you to see that I can do good programming. So you know that I'm good at it, so you think I'm worthy…" He muttered the last bit.
"Aww, Add, you never had to prove yourself to me. I knew by you just getting hired by Nasod corps," She gently kissed him. "Also you're really attractive so bonus for you." He laughed. They lay there, just talking and enjoying each other's company, under the maple tree.
