Chapter Two
Jazmine Jones, J.J for short, was wearing full battle gear and admiring herself as she sat next to a small pond. Beautiful as always; she always looked beautiful. You could call it a curse sort of. Well how could she help it? Her mother was Aphrodite and her father was Erin Jones, a famous model when he was younger. Now he worked in the fashion industry. She hated him for what he had done. She would never forgive him.
She was born in a hospital like a normal kid. She was 4 when her mother left to go back to Mount Olympus, leaving her in the care of her father. He lived in a house on the nice part of town in Los Angeles. But when he lost his job, he lost everything, including the house. They were then forced to live in the ghetto. She was picked on by the gang girls and hit on all the time by the boys. At first she hated it. She learned how to fight by beating up the girls and other bullies in the neighborhood. She started to like the fact that guys liked her. She had many boyfriends.
When she was 18 years old she brought a boy home from school alone. She knew what she was going to do and she wanted to. But before anything could happen, her father walked in and stopped everything. The boy left and she never saw him again. That was when her father told her about her mother. He then took her to the camp, and she has been there ever since. She is now 19 years old.
When she first arrived to camp she had not a single friend for the longest time. Well, accept all the other children that Aphrodite had. She had first heard from her mother when she was thinking about how she could have as many "siblings" as she did. Her mother then started to talk to her through telepathy. She told her the real reason why she left. Her father had cheated on Aphrodite and they split up. She could not take me with her so she didn't want any rights in the divorce. She then left and had a few more relationships with other men and had more kids. Then Zeus made her come back after her last child was born. Her youngest sibling was not there at camp, yet. They knew where he was so he was being watched over. Soon they would take him to the camp when he would be old enough.
She was looking around when she heard the horn go off. She looked at everyone. She then saw the boy. From what she saw, he was really cute. She had to meet him. She stood up and started to walk toward the boy, her blonde hair with brown streaks swaying back and forth. While she was walking she saw her best friend Anastasia and her brother Alexander racing there. She then started to run to catch up.
