She was standing in front of Eiffel Tower and admiring it. It was summer and very hot outside so she was wearing black shorts and greenish top. Nothing else except the small backpack. It didn't matter that the weather was good and in warmer clothes she would feel sick because she was a vampire and Caroline just wanted to look like the rest of tourists. After over a half century of being a vampire she was finally here. In Paris. A girl had been too afraid to come to city of love because that had meant that she had to start with living far away from Mystic Falls. And when she decided for that Caroline felt free. And then she was just walking around Eiffel Tower and thinking that nothing would break her happiness and recollection. Nothing. Except one thing.
'Caroline Forbes' she heard the voice behind her back. 'What's a surprise!'
'Klaus' Caroline turned around recognizing the voice. 'What the hell are you doing here?' she asked with pretend smile.
'That what you are, I guess.' He answered with calm and flirting voice as usual in her company. 'I'm just sightseeing. Is something wrong with that?'
'Go away with your puppy dog eyes!' she laughed but immediately her face became more serious. 'It's not a case that you and I are in the same place in the same time.' Girl looked at hybrid with interested face. 'Are you following me?'
'Why have I follow you?' he denied but seeing Caroline's look he decided to change his testimony 'Okay. I just found out that some beautiful blond vampire girl is in Paris and I came here.'
'Seriously?!' she couldn't believe. 'And you recognized it was me?'
'I live long time in this incarnation so know a lot female blond vampires.' He began his talk with mysterious voice. 'But only one asks everyone about everything about what I found out. That was simple task.' He finished but seeing that she lost her attention he changed the topic. 'I'm getting hungry. Can I invite you for lunch?'
'But tell me one thing.' She was looking into his eyes. 'You promised, much time ago, that you would leave me for good…'
'I did, that's right.' He broke her talking. 'But I have never promised you that I would not look for you in the future.'
