"oh my god, look at her! She's beautiful!" Rachel said softly, leaning over her wife and looking at the small bundle in her arms.
"yes she is" Quinn agreed with a wide, tired smile.
"I love you" Rachel said, smiling tearfully at her before giving her a kiss.
"I love you too babe" Quinn responded, happily returning the kiss before looking down at their baby "we did good huh?"
"you did good" Rachel corrected, giving Quinn a soft kiss on her cheek. "I still cant believe that she came out of you. I mean, you pushed her out of your vagi-"
"yes. ok. I get it Rach" Quinn cut her off with kiss, smiling fondly at her.
Rachel blushed and smiled sheepishly back at her. "too graphic huh? Sorry. I just still cant believe that she's ours...its just...i'm so happy. This is it Quinn. This is the start of a family that we've always wanted. Its happened"
"its happening, baby. I'm not planning to stop just yet" came Quinn's response, her eyelids dropping in exhaustion. "though you're having the next child"
"I think that's a good idea, the world always needs more Rachel berry's" Rachel said, kissing her forehead. "now sleep, babe"
"m'not tired" she replied stubbornly, forcing her eyes back open.
"sweetie, you just forced a child out of you. You're bound to be tired. Now sleep. Harmony needs her mommy fully alert for when she wakes up" Rachel said, running her hand through Quinn's hair and scratching lightly at her scalp, a move that never failed to relax her.
"not fair" Quinn murmured, her eyes slipping closed against her will.
"baby, when do I ever play fair?" Rachel said, grinning amusedly as she watched her wife try and fail to stay awake. "sleep well baby" she whispered quietly, placing another kiss on her cheek before picking up harmony and placing her in her cot at the side of Quinn's bed.
She couldn't help the beam that came on her face as she observed her two girls. Life was good.
