This is an one shot inspired by a daydream I had today since there are storms where we live and I thought it aforable the image of Kevin comforting Dave after he has a bad dream and I love these two so here goes.
During storms that hit the town, Davre can't sleep and it takes Kevin and a little help from a Guardian Minion to calm him.
I love this so much as it's cute.

It was a wet, stormy night outside and in a black house with dead lawns in Pasadena, everybody in the Gru family were asleep except forone, Kevin who was playing a fighting game on the Playstation 3 and wearing headphones so Dave wouldn't be woken.
The Purple Minion male loved staying up since Purple Minions were wired plus the storm wasn't helping so he'd rather play video games than sleep.
Dave on the other hand wasn't sleeping well because the storm outside was giving him bad dreams, as whimpers escaped from him tossing and turning until a scream alerted Kevin, since he could sense auras.
He must be having a bad dream which isn't fun since we all had those after El Macho, but this ain't fair, that he has to suffer.
I gotta wake him up, but I know how!
He then put his long furry arms around Dave in a hug, feeling him shoiver in fright which bothered Kevin but snuggles were helping.
"You're safe now, I got ya." he said seeing Dave's eyes open stinging with tears.
"I-I had a terrible dream, to do with being alone before we met." he said.
Kevin tensed up at that, since both of them had been alone before meeting, Dave had ran away from his master and Kevin had been a busker in New York but one wet, rainy day had brought them together.
"Ssh, you're gonna be okay because nothing is gonna tear us apart, besides we have an ohana here who care about us remember?" he said.
Unknown to them, a female Purple Minion in a purple and black hooded top wielding a sceptre watched this from the window, knoewing Pitch had been here, scaring her friends.
She missed visiting Chomper and especially Pricat as they were her siblings, knowing how to fix this using dreamsand, she created the sweetest dream possible, one of family sending it into the room.
She watched as both males were out like lights making her relieved hearing footsteps flying off before Gru or Lucy saw her.
Pricat sighed as she had sensed Pandora's Guardian aura and had been too late but she would see her again and going back to bed.
She just hoped her family were okay.
