On this beautiful day, one could see brown geese walking across the road in groups, healthy trees with lush, green landscapes, birds flying in flocks in a v-configuration pattern, and a blue sunlit sky with soft clouds. The scenery is so beautiful, so peaceful, one could just stand there for hours admiring the view. However, in front of this magnificent view, she couldn't help being reminded of that day, that day she will never ever forget.

For 7 months, they have been living a simple life in Barcelona. While Amy took classes in the Barcelona Academy of Art, Lucy spent her time taking classes in various subjects as well. But unlike Amy, Lucy is not working towards any degree and only took classes that she found useful such as self-defense classes, business and others. Despite having given back all the money she stole, they were able to live comfortably with her father's "retirement" funds.

"Let's go over the list again." Lucy said while holding a pen and paper.

"Lucy!...I'm not planning a heist. It's just going to be 3 days. I promise...I'll call everyday."

Seven months of living together without ever spending a day apart, Lucy didn't think she would be this worried until the day came closer and closer. Being held in a tight embrace made her feel better, but still she wished Amy would allow her to go but on the other hand, she understands that being too clingy isn't a good thing. "I almost forgot."

"This is beautiful. What's the occasion?"

"If you press this button here, you can use it like a pepper spray. And here, you can pull a 5ft wire that's stronger than steel. Would you believe they discovered this material in Yale?"

"No way!"

She may not know everything about Amy but she knows when Amy is pretending to be shocked. Despite what Amy thinks, she continued with the instructions. "...press these 2 buttons together, it will emit a tiny laser that can cut through metal...and sliding this little lever here will release a drop of serum, sort of like a sleeping pill, only 10 times more effective."

"Okay…Luce, let's go to the airport. I don't want to be late."

Outside the airport

Holding Amy in a tight embrace, Lucy ignored everyone around them. It's the airport. That's what people do. She wouldn't care even if it's not the airport, but for Amy...she would mind. "Have fun."

"I love you..."

That's exactly what Lucy wants to hear but she's not willing to let Amy go yet, not before giving her a kiss that somehow turned into a longer more passionate kiss.

"Mom, look!"

Amy broke the kiss first. Lucy too was startled by the sudden shout nearby and took a quick glance at the little boy who's standing a feet away, then followed the direction of his hand pointing upwards. Birds, lots of them, are flying in a V-shaped formation, from left to right. They then flew out of formation, flying in circles together, becoming extremely loud, then forming the v configuration again before flying away…

…and that was the last time she saw her...
