A New Type of Date Night | Bering and Wells
"Come on Myka, I don't want to go alone! Only lame-os go alone to concerts" Claudia stuck out her bottom lip "Pleeeeeeease"
"A metal concert Claudia? I mean I'd have no problem going to a nice pop concert but metal?" Myka replied scrunching her nose "Besides it's date night"
"First, eww TMI don't want to know. Secondly, Myyykaaaa. Pleeeeeease" Claudia whined
"Why don't you ask Pete or Steve?"
"Because Jinksy is too lame for a metal concert" she yelled this in the direction of Steve's room "and Pete 'hurt his back' during the last artifact retrieval"
"So we're your last resort?" Myka brought her hand to her chest and acted hurt. She stared at Claudia who began her puppy dog eye routine. "No." Claudia stuck out her bottom lip once again "Fine, Claud fine. But you have to convince Helena."
"Convince Helena of what?" HG asked as she walked into the room. She handed Myka a glass of water then sat down next to her. "Well?"
Claudia took a deep breath and shot out her request "Weeeeell, there's this really awesome concert tonight and I really don't want to go alone and Jinksy and Pete are super lame and don't want to go so will you please come with me? And by you I mean both of you, this can be like a date thing, but not really you know, 'cause I really don't want to be a third while either. Maybe like a girls night out or something?"
Helena pondered for a second "It's fine with me"
"What?!" both Myka and Claudia replied in unison
"Oh, don't act so surprised. I am capable of enjoy several genres of music."
"But metal?" Myka said looking at HG
"Too late! She said yes. We're going to the concert! Whoo!"

The three women walked into the premium section of the arena, leave it to Claudia to find three highly exclusive tickets at the last second. Myka surveyed the faces of her companions. She smiled as she saw that Claudia looked like a kid at Christmas, but she particularly enjoyed Helena's 'What did I get us into' expression.
Myka leaned towards HG's ear, "This is going to be really loud"
Not a minute after she said that the lights dimmed. "HELLO SOUTH DAKOTA!" The crowd cheered enthusiastically and the band began playing as an obnoxiously loud fan behind HG yelled towards the stage.
Helena looked back at Myka with a 'I'm going to murder someone' look in her eyes. Myka grabbed Helena's hand and placed a pair of ear plugs in it. Helena bowed her head slightly and quickly placed them in her ears. She grabbed Myka by the waist and gave her a kiss.
This was going to be a long, yet fun night.
