He scuffed his feet down the path full of people. Maneuvering through to the subway station, he looked down to change the song on his phone, the hardcore sound matching his mood.

He bumped into someone. He looked up, as he went to chide them, he found himself up close to the most beautiful pair of brown eyes. They felt like he was sipping a scalding cup of hot chocolate. As the hot chocolate would have done, his throat burned as his breath caught.

They quickly ran off to make their train. He decided he had to meet them.

He kept his eyes on the entrance, trying to push through. There was a large amount of obscenities, but he didn't hear them. His focus was on their shoes. His pace grew as he saw them disappear, the doors closing.

Pounding the button to make the doors open, he was too late.

He panicked, the eyes became his objective. The stations and times were like second nature. He knew waiting would take too long, so he booked it, running to the next station.

Weaving his way through traffic, he almost got hit several times. He didn't care, his adrenaline was tuning everything out. Practically falling down the stairs of the station, his throat burned even more than before.

When he got there, the train was just barely pulling up. His heart pounded, and he grinned as he saw them exit. He got lucky. He followed the eyes as they went, quickly catching up and tugging on their sweatshirt.

Out of breath, he looked into those brown eyes with his sea-green ones and smiled.

"Hi..." he trailed off, at a loss of words. "I...like your eyes."

The boy who owned the intoxicating eyes smiled slightly, looking back. "I like yours too."
