Hatter looked out over Underland's distorted land. Ever since that wretched Red Queen took over, nothing was the same. The home they once knew was full of darkness and evil and none were safe under the ruthless queen's rule. Hatter was on the queen's most wanted list right now, though, he had done nothing wrong. The Red Queen absolutely hated the mad folk and unfortunately for Hatter...He was one of them.
Hatter had decided to stay with Ches (Cheshire cat) and Ab (Absalom)
for a while till she has given up, but he knew she never would...
"Ches... Do you suppose she will ever come back?" He asked. Hatter gripped his hat tightly in his trembling hands, letting his charcoal black hair wisp through the wind. Ches came up beside his friend and sat beside him, peering into Hatter's leafy green eyes with his own golden cat-like eyes. He knew exactly who Hatter was talking about.
Alice Kingsley. "She might..." He replied. "Wonderland needs her...
W-We can't d-deal under the "queen's" rule anymore! It's terrifying!" Hatter cried. He sat on his knees, trembling in fear, "I-I barley escaped from her c-cruel punishments...alive" He added. Hatter wiped away the scarlet blood that dripped from his forehead with his grimy hands.
Ches saw that Hatter was bleeding semi-badly in several places and gave him a torn rag he had, "Here... You need it..." He replied.
Hatter nodded in gratitude and took it. They both turned to find Ab coming up. Ab was breathing heavily,
"I...Told u..TO WAIT UP!" He yelled crossly. "Well maybe if you laid off the cupcakes, you could keep up..." Ches replied sarcastically. Ab frowned, "Whatever...Hatter you alright?" Hatter did not answer right away because he was lost in thought, "Huh what? Oh uhh...
Y-Yeah..." Ches gave Ab a look to stay off that subject, "So! D-Do you want to go back to the tea part-" "They have probably ripped that place apart looking for us! If not...W-We can't risk them seeing us..." Hatter interrupted. Ches looked at Hatter, "I'm sorry...I'm not thinking... Let us go visit the White Queen! Maybe she can help us."
Ab jumped up and down, "The White Queen the White Queen!" Hatter smiled at them, "Alright...I'll go"
