Life was hard enough for young Teenage Jesse. He lived with his Mum, Dad and brother, somewhere in Australia. He didn't really fit in with anyone or anything. His only escape from the real world was, Skylanders. Every night he tries to create a video game system, in which he unites all three Skylanders games into one Mega Skyland Universe. Through years and years of hunting for keys, ideas, and interactive technology, he has finally found the solution in one small toy. The portal. The Portal is his key to transport his life into the life of Skylands. After many fail attempts on the 1st of March 2015, he thinks he may have found the answer.
He slips in the nozzle that connects to a wireless portal he made and engineered. He finds the correctly named wires and hooks it up to the power line of his console and computer. A buzzing noise appears. Hopefully that's a good sign. He wires it in to the correct panel, finds the switch and pulls it. A light appears on his portal and it creates a 'ding' noise.
"Oh, good," Jesse says smiling.
He finds his poster of all the the characters and everything in Skylands and slips it into the scanning device he edited from a printer. It slids in perfectly and a message appears on the title of his main screen.
Characters and objects scanned. Please plug into the Power switch.
"Phew!"
He gets of his chair and goes downstairs to his main control electrical power board to switch the button on. It's dark and dusty down there, so he figures he should grab a flashlight for safe keeping. He turns it on and walks down the creaking steps. When he gets to the bottom, he finds the key for the door, slides it in and turns. It unlocks. He puts his torch in his mouth, to use both his hands at once. He pulls the switch and hears a faint 'Welcome Jesse!' Excitingly, he runs quickly up the stairs and gets back into his chair.
He feels a sucking movement of air on his face, as if something's trying to pull him into the screen. Hoping for a miracle, he gets his back ready that he'd packed the night before, and other essential items he's gathered. He puts his home made Skylanders Googles on and gets ready to jump in. But he couldn't just leave his family behind. He figured he'd be back by morning to meet them, no point. He is about to jump in when he remembers something he could never leave without. His favourite Skylander, Free Ranger. Why? He doesn't know, it just brings him good luck wherever he goes. He slips it in his pocket and gets ready.
"Hopefully I don't disintegrate, I mean, this has to work. It just has to."
He takes the last bite of his burger and slowly inserts his arm into the screen. It works! He hand is now half way through the screen. But then, all of a sudden, he feels a tugging on his elbow. He tries to fight it, but it's too strong. His whole body his pulled harshly through the screen and leaves the world behind him. He falls to the ground.
"Wow! Now that was cool. Wha- where am I?"
He looks up and see a dark hooded figure with a cape of his back. His face is being shadowed, until he lifts the top of the hoodie off, revealing his face.
"Ah! Look who we have here. Greetings, and welcome to Skylands!"
"No, it can't be... Ka- Kaos?!"
