Nicole was walking through the forest when she saw David. She followed him since team estrella had been looking for the dominators. She saw him go into a cave so she ran after him.
"David stop"Nicole yelled after him.
"Wait don't move"David said.
"Don't tell me what to do"Nicole said stepping closer to him. She gasped when she saw rocks behind her start to fall.
"Move"David yelled. Nicole was scared out of her mind but she listened to him and ran towards him. Once she was behind him she turned around and no longer saw a light. The only light was coming from small holes in the ceiling.
"We're trapped"Nicole said starting to worry. "How are we gonna get out"Nicole asked pacing around. "We're gonna die in here we-"
"Shut up and get a hold of yourself"David said grabbing Nicole by the shoulders.
"Sorry"Nicole said apologizing.
"Now there has to be a way out so just calm down"David said going over to the rocks.
"Big bro are you in there"A voice said from the other side.
"Yeah"David said.
"Hold on big bro i'll get you out"Gigante said. There was a groaning noise and a rock moved but besides that nothing happened.
"Go get help the rocks are too heavy for you alone"David said.
"Ok big bro"Gigante said then his footsteps faded.
"Now we just wait"David said sitting on the ground. Nicole looked up and noticed it was starting to get couldn't help but stand by David afraid of the darkness which was just getting greater.
"Are you scared"David asked.
"Of course not"Nicole said sitting down across from him and pulling her knees up to her chest which also made her feel a little warmer.
"Are you cold"David asked.
"Yeah do you have a blanket"Nicole asked.
"No"David said getting up. Nicole was shocked when he sat next to her. She tried to move away but David pulled her to the ground with him.
"What are you doing"Nicole asked trying to squirm away.
"I don't like this either but I don't want to take care of a sick person"David said pulling Nicole against his chest.
"But-"Nicole tried to squirm but David's grip on her tightened pulling her even closer.
"Is that better"David asked. Nicole blushed when she felt his warm breath against her ear.
"Yeah"Nicole said. She hated to admit it but she was a lot warmer than before.
"Why are you so quiet now you never shut up every time you're with Mache and the rest of team estrella"David said.
"I didn't know I was so annoying"Nicole said looking down.
"I didn't mean it like that"David said.
"So why were you in the cave"Nicole asked.
"Looking for a place to stay for the night"David said. "Why were you following me"David asked.
"I was looking for the dominators"Nicole said.
"Why"David asked.
"All of team estrella is looking for you guys"Nicole said.
"Why won't you just leave us alone"David asked. Nicole didn't know what to think when she realized a change in David's voice. It sounded more vulnerable than before.
"Where are the other dominators"Nicole asked.
"No idea, me and Gigante left them"David said.
Why"Nicole asked.
"We're done with that life and I don't want Gigante to be scared like he was there anymore"David said.
"You really care about you're big brother"Nicole said.
"He's all I have"David said holding Nicole a little tighter.
"It must be nice to have someone who cares about you as much as you care about Gigante"Nicole said.
"Do you not have a family"David asked.
"My mom was a stripper and my dad was a wealthy businessman who is always traveling"Nicole said. She didn't know why she was telling him this it just seemed right. They just kept talking until they both fell asleep
When Nicole woke up she heard voices yelling above her.
"Nicole wake up"Sho yelled.
"Huh"Nicole mumbled opening her eyes and seeing David holding her. Then as she squirmed a little she realized the cave was no longer blocked with rocks and her friends were standing above her.
"What's going on"David asked opening his eyes and letting go of Nicole. He squinted when he saw the bright sun light.
"Get away from her"Mache yelled as he glared at David.
"Mache calm down it's not what you think"Nicole said standing up.
"Big bro are you ok"Gigante asked rushing over to David.
"Fine"David said crossing his arms. His voice wasn't the same as it was last night it was normal again and for some reason that bothered Nicole.
"What did you do to her"Leon asked glaring at David.
"He didn't do anything he was really nice without him I would have gone crazy"Nicole said standing in between team estrella and David and Gigante.
"Big bro would never hurt her"Gigante said defending his brother.
"Thank you for helping her"Jin told David. David just dipped his head in Jin's direction.
"Jin you believe him"Covey asked shocked.
"Yeah"Jin said before walking off followed by Sho,Leon, and Covey leaving only Mache.
"I still don't trust you"Mache said before walking off.
"Thanks Gigante we owe you"David said.
"Are you two just gonna stand there or are you gonna come with me"Nicole asked.
"Huh"Gigante asked.
"I'm offering you a place to stay"Nicole said.
"But-"David tried to talk but Nicole put a finger to his lips.
"I owe you"Nicole said before removing her finger and walking away.
"Later that night….
Nicole was walking around her house when she saw David putting a blanket over Gigante who had fallen asleep watching a movie.
"You should get some rest to"Nicole said.
"I'm ok"David said.
"I'm sorry about Mache"Nicole said.
"I don't blame him after all I am the bad guy"David said.
"No you're not you're kind"Nicole said shaking her head vigorously and frowning.
"My definition of kind must be different than yours"David said.
"No it's not"Nicole said hugging David.
"What are you doing"David asked shocked.
"Thanking you"Nicole said then she kissed him.
"Mmph what are you-"David tried to talk but Nicole put a finger over his mouth.
"Do you want to kiss me"Nicole asked.
"Yeah but-"
"Then shut up and kiss me"Nicole said. David just nodded and kissed her.
