Slumbering in the Sea of Souls, bound to a crucified door, a soul sleeps eternally to prevent humanity's destruction from the goddess of night, Nyx. However, here in the Sea of Souls, something changed over time. The soul guarding has been hearing Nyx screaming from behind the seal, in pain and agony as Erebus, the collective will of mankind's negative emotions and grief had gradually started shrinking and dying out. These things awoke the sleeping soul as he heard Nyx cry out for help, to keep the living dead from hurting her even more. She asked the soul guarding her to save her when he wakes, as the Fall will never happen with what is happening now in this unknown era.

The now woken soul was horrified at what could be causing the Night Queen such anguish, and what could have caused Erebus itself to start disappearing completely. It made the soul worry about the friends and bonds it had made in life, and now that the reason the Fall is gone, the soul was free from its burden. The barbed wires holding the crucified statue loosened, and the statue began to crake and break apart as a bright light was awoken at last. The Great Seal was undone, and this soul knew that it must find the source of the situation at hand and stop it.

"I finally found you." A mechanical male voice echoed as the soul was summoned from the Sea of Souls.

Fan of Fanfics21 presents…

"Gu…n."

An annoying voice was calling him. He wanted to sleep.

"Gua…an…"

—Wait, calling him?

"Guardian?"

He opened his eyes, realizing that for the first time since that day…he lived again. He eyed the little white floating machine. "You're awake!" it beeped as he noticed that the place was in ruins, as if no one has lived in the area for years. "You've been dead for a long time. I was able to bring you back so there will be things you won't understand." The little machine told him as they heard a roar. "This is Fallen territory. We need to get to the City." The machine chirped as he looked at it oddly. He looked at the his own hands and realized he was truly alive again, but was adorned in some sort of strange suit as he eyed the floating machine in front of him.

"…What are you?" he asked, his voice dry and raspy from aeons of death.

"I'm a Ghost…Well, your Ghost now. I'll explain later, let's find a ship and get to someplace safe." Ghost told him. He nodded his head and proceeded to take a step when he felt something move from his foot and saw it. A gun, but at the same time, not a gun; one word entered his mind when he saw it…Evoker. As he picked it up, the Ghost chirped at him and eyed the contraption. "It was buried with you along with earphones and a music player of sorts with various items which I believe are mementos of sorts. I've stored them in the inventory space I have. I'll give them to you once we're at the City." Ghost told him as he noticed he was surrounded by four-armed creatures with bladed weaponry crackling with electricity as behind his helmet, he smiled as he pointed the item at his head. "Wait, what are you-!?" his Ghost exclaimed in shock.

"Per…so…na…!"

The trigger of fate was pulled, and a new legend awakens.

Persona 3: Destiny of the Messiah

Dreamless dorm -

Ticking clock,

He walked away from the scorched remains of his enemies, taking one of their swords as a weapon of defense as he walked away from the graveyard.

I walk away -

from the soundless room

Elsewhere, the Speaker froze, sensing a new Guardian rise with a bright light, and behind his mask, he smiled.

Windless night-

Moonlight melts

The Vanguard smiled knowingly, they knew a new Guardian was born, and they felt the Light shining bright within him. He could be a powerful ally in stopping the Darkness.

My ghostly shadow-

To the lukewarm gloom

He found a ship, and Ghost began to start the rundown machine. He was teleported in and the ship began to take off away from Japan.

Nightly dance-

Of bleeding swords

Up upon the moon, the Hive stirred, sensing the bright Light on Earth, and found it worthy for their master's offering. Deep within the pit; Crota, Son of Oryx stirs from the dark below. It sensed the Light and the power, and found it to be a worthy opponent to one day clash swords with.

Reminds me that-

I still live

The Vex awaken to the Light as their god pulsed with power.

I will…

Burn My Dread!

Ghost piloted the ship, occasionally turning to the sleeping Guardian as it noticed clearly how it belonged to none of the three classes. The helmet was a visor mask that revealed only the lower part of the face, reminding the Ghost of a Hunter's, as the chest armor liken to a short robe as the gauntlets were lightly layered with plates of metal that made it resemble what Titans bore, as there was an initial Warlock "bond" on him as his leg armor were akin to Hunter boots. Over all, this was an unexpected development.

I once ran away from the god of fear

And he chained me to despair

Deep within the depths of the Vault of Glass, lights slowly began to turn on as evil stirs within.

Burn My Dread…

Out in Russia, a Titan bashes a Vandal in the skill with a nasty right hook as from behind that helmet, Akihiko Sanada grinned.

I'll break the chain and run

Till I see the sunlight again

"Prepare for your execution!" shouted one angry female Warlock as she channeled her powers to 'execute' the Hive Ogre and narrowly saving her teammate's life from the beast's attack. "Wow Mitsuru, that was awesome!" the Hunter exclaimed in awe.

"Ghost to Tower, I'm heading back on ship with my Guardian, and I'd like to report that he is an unusual one that should be examined as soon as possible." Ghost spoke on the speaker as he got an OK from the Tower.

I lift my face

And run to the sunlight…

A Persona 3 and Destiny Crossover story

He lay on the examination table, sleeping deeply as the three heads of the Vanguard observe him curiously. "Fascinating, the Light shines bright within this one; constantly shifting, unbound and full of life." Ikora noted as Cayde-6 scoffed. "Hah, all we need is to find out what class he belongs to. He's got gear on him fit for all three." The Exo Hunter spoke as Commander Zavala began to speak. "We must test this new Guardian and find which class he belongs to. And also see this 'ability' his Ghost reported him having." He told them as he held onto the Evoker and examined it. It was designed to resemble a gun, but the function was different, and the technology was pre-Golden Age; an antique from a lost era far older than the time when the Traveler came in.

"His brainwaves are abnormal; they're more active than what normal Guardians have, showing potential as a Warlock." Ikora spoke up as Cayde-6 chuckled. "He doesn't look the academic type even without removing his helmet. His body is athletic and fast, similar to what us Hunters are." He told her as Zavala eyed the sleeping teenage Guardian. Judging from the way he was breathing as he slept. "He has faced many battles, suffered many loses, and still has the strength to endure. He is a fitting Titan." The Commander told them as he knew that this was one Guardian worth keeping an eye out for.

"Or rather, he belongs to all three." A fourth voice spoke as the Vanguard Mentors turned and bowed their heads in respect of the Speaker. The Speaker was the oldest Guardian with great knowledge and experience, wisdom with his years as he guides new Guardians to combat the Darkness. "Forgive me for inquiring, but what do you me all three?" Ikora asked as behind the mask, the Speaker smiled. "His Light is so strong and bright, that he can utilize all three classes of Guardians. But right now, that light is faint after his awakening. He must grow and master his abilities if he is to truly reveal his powers as a Guardian." The Speaker told them with wisdom as he turned to Cayde-6. "His Light right now is not strong enough for great battles ahead, but he does have an initial start as a Hunter. Train him well, and once he has proven himself a master of the frontier. Once his potential has grown, then will he try either the Warlock or Titan classes when he is ready." The Speaker said as Cayde-6, if possible for an Exo, grinned.

He awoke, staring into an unfamiliar white ceiling as he felt an unfamiliar presence next to him. He turned his head a little on his pillow and found a white robed man with a mask on looking at him, as if expecting him to awake. "Greetings Guardian, I am the Speaker. And I have much to tell you about this new world." The Speaker spoke in a gentle tone.

There he learned of what happened, of how the Traveler came to this solar system, of how a Golden Age rose and fell when the Darkness came, the rise of the Guardians, and a fading light and despair. He was dead for a long time, for so long that instead of longing for death, the hearts of people fear it. They no longer yearn for death due to this Darkness and its forces, as the Sea of Souls was suffering from this invasion. His friends, even if he could no longer remember their names or faces, are already dead and long gone. He will go one, remembering what little he could about them, and save what's left of this world. He sacrificed himself to save it once; he will not let it be destroyed again.

"Ah, my bad with manners, but may I ask for your name?" the Speaker asked apologetically.

"…My name is…"

Please give your name…
