I was lying on my back with gloved hands and metal instruments in my mouth when this came to me. It's written in Booth's perspective, and takes place in Christine's nursery at about 6:30pm when B&B are putting her to bed. It's a little rough and obviously needs proof reading, because I wrote it on my iPod... Alright, enough of my stalling, enjoy!

The beautiful sound of a child's laughter. The sweet, sweet symphony filled his ears with a sense of harmony. The child's laughter made him smile, yes, but the fact being that it was his newborn daughter's laughter, made him unrelentingly giddy.
"Phalanges." Brennan smiled as she held the tiny infants hand between her thumb and index fingers, "Fuh-lhan-gees." she wiggled the baby's fingers with her free hand.
He watched with loving eyes as his partner nuzzled her nose into the child's little abdomen, and he chuckled along with his baby girl.
Christine has been a living part of Booth's blissful dreams for twenty-two days now. She is beautiful. A little ray of sunshine, content with shining her ever electrifying happiness upon all the paths of whom she does cross. From her big, blue pools of innocence, to her sneaky little toothless smile, you could not help but to fall enraptured by this perfect human being. Perfect, that word sounds unachievable but, no, not for Christine. Christine was more than perfect. For lack of a better word, she was immaculate. Just looking into her eyes, lonely souls find love, broken hearts become whole, unsolved questions get answers. She was a life changer.
Seeing that he could gather all that information out of knowing her only three short weeks, just by looking at him you could tell; they have been three of the best weeks of his life.
Practically quoting his own words, Brennan looked up at him and laughed, "I don't think I've ever smiled this much before. It hurts! Just when my mandibular muscles begin to relax, they contract and I find myself smiling again!"
Christine giggled.
Now huddled over his partner and daughter, Booth took his big, beefy index finger and gently rubbed the infant's belly, "You're beautiful," he looked up and flashed a sentimental grin at Brennan, "just like your mom."
She returned the smile as she leaned in and kissed him carefully on the lips.
