Dean glares at his cell-phone display. Stabs at the keys, cursing.
Why the hell could Sam not just ring him like a civilised person? He hates frigging texting and loathes text-speak even more.

That's just peachy. Dean dials his brother's number – straight to voicemail.
"Can I help?" She's petite, gorgeous, but Dean's blind to everything except Sammy's last incomprehensible message. After she translates it for him, he can finally drown in those big brown eyes.
It seems over-protective big brothers are cute.
