This is my first fanfiction, sooooooo, critics i will take! RavenFiction is doing the another as the other side to this one.
As Amelia Sutra walked down the stairs to her mum to tell her she was ready, she tripped. "Ruddy hell!" she exclaimed. Brilliant, She thought. I've broken my stupid glasses.
"Oculus Reparo" she whispered, highly doubting her mother hadn't heard her fall. She didn't want her mother to worry to much, after all she can't see at all without her glasses. Just as she was getting up, her mother ran up the stairs to help her.
"Oh," She said as she saw Amelia's glasses. "You've learned Oculus Reparo! Thats great honey!"
"Ok, mum, I know your happy, but I'm 11 years old. Does it really matter?"
"Ye-" She cut her mother off.
"No, it doesn't. Now, I came down here to tell you I'm ready. Lets go!"
She suddenly heard a tapping sound.
"Mum, look, it's Scorp!" She said as read the letter:
Hi Amelia,
Thanks for the letter, I'm also excited about our first year.
I hope I get into Slytherin, it's obviously the best for me.
See you next week at King's Cross.

"Well, the letter's really late so I'll write him back anyway." Amelia half said to herself, half to her Mum. As Scorpion had flown away, so she got her snowy owl, Spider, and wrote this note:
Yes, I agree.
Meet you at King's Cross.
Amelia.
Then she sent Spider off with it.
As Amelia arrived at King's Cross with her mother she looked at her ticket. Nine and three quarters? She thought. Were the ruddy hell is that? Then she saw a boy about the same age as her and she realised that he was Ayden. She started to notice that he was headed for the brick wall between platform 9 and 10. She followed him and as he got close to the wall, he ran straight for it, not around it. "Hey," Amelia yelled. "What are you doing Ayden, your going to crash!"
"No I won't." He as She approached him. "It's magic, run trough it and find platform 9 and three quarters."
"WOW! Is that were it is?" Amelia gasped. "Mum, come over here, this is how you get to that platform!"
