"…Draco, come," Snape demanded in a cold stern tone. Draco froze, and, almost unwillingly, obliged.
"Alright, I'll see you," Draco practically whispered so Snape couldn't hear him. He turned away, and walked towards Snape. Snape's eyes gleamed with disappointed, his teeth grinding. Draco sighed, disgust was boiling up inside him.
"Walk," Snape spat out quietly. The two were then on their way to the dungeons. "You're never to see that boy ever again. Do I make myself clear Draco?"
Draco rolled his eyes, "I don't understand - "
"You fool!" Snape turned and grabbed him, his anger climaxing. He looked at him dead in the eye, he then looked around to see if anyone was watching. "Get inside!" Snape pushed Draco into a closet.
Snape quickly shut the door behind him, there was no light, and the smell of damp woodchips filled the air. "What do you mean you don't understand, what exactly don't you understand?" Snape's voice was deep and threatening.
"Ugh, damn it -"
"Don't you use words like that in front of me!"
"I don't want any part of this, I don't want this life, I don't want the life that you have, that my father -"
"Do you have any idea what your father would do if he knew that? You're lucky I don't hit that pretty face of yours with the back of my hand! We've been over this many times Draco, what's done is done! And speaking to-"
"I'll run away, I'll tell Dumbledore-"
"You will not run away and you will not go anywhere near Dumbledore, and I swear if you do I'll chain -"
"You can't do that!"
"Yes I can, but I don't want to!" Snape slapped Draco across the face. When he spoke again, his voice was finally calm, "Stop crying, there's no crying in this life. And tell me, what makes you think, you can go around talking to…Harry Potter? If I ever see you talking to that scum ever again I'll immediately let your father be aware, and perhaps…well…no." Draco stood still, his head turned to the side, his blonde hair all over his face.
"Look at me and tell me you understand," Snape took Draco's chin in his hand.
Panting, Draco said, "I understand."
There was silence for a moment, and then like harsh wind Snape said, "Go to your room, and don't come out until morning." Thrilled to be getting out of there, Draco ran out of the closet all the way to his room.
