Chapter one: EG

Author's notes:

I'm rewriting this story because I had some really high hopes for this story, but they didn't really get shown. The story went way off the story line so I feel like I need to redo it. The story was terrible. It sucked and I as a fanfic author, I'm very sorry about that. This story should be better. Read and Review! Thanks!

Callie:

I know I shouldn't be here, but I also know I need to hear whatever they are saying. I crouched down lower looking through the door. I know two of the three people in there. There are the Vice-Chancellor, Abby Griffin; Commander Shumway from the guard; and one other person. She looks familiar but I can't place where I know her. What are they doing?

"I think it is time for me to tell you the purpose of the Earth Games, or its scientific name, EG," Abby says.

"I know the purpose of the Earth Games. It is to get rid of people in a humane way. It is for people who break the law, know too much, or just piss off a higher up," Shumway said.

"Clarke, would you tell Commander Shumway the true purpose of EG? And before you say no, remember that you are going to die anyway, might as well pass on your knowledge," Abby said venomously.

"Okay. Earth Games, or EG, is the way your higher ups decided to keep an alliance with the Elders. The Elders are a tribe of people who survived to nuclear war on earth. The Elders have some very weird traditions. For example, they love torture. They torture their kids from the time they are two until they are eighteen. They are also at war with a tribe called the Grounders. The Elders are always testing their weapons, finding new ways to make them better. The way they do that is using people to test these weapons. That's where we come in; we give them twenty people that we no longer need every year. I'm not quite sure what we get, but I know what we give. Now you are probably wondering why I'm telling you this, well, like my mother said, I've been chosen for EG. I will be tortured until I die, so I should pass on my wisdom," the girl, Clarke, said.

I hear footsteps and run. I get back to my room to hear the TV talking. I go towards it to hear what they are saying.

"Monroe Miller, Harper Kane, and Raven Reyes, you are the lucky ladies going to Earth!" I turned it off quickly. I have to find my sister. My poor baby sister. Not my baby sister! No! Clarke! I have to find Clarke!

"I'm looking for Clarke Griffin!" I yell running around. A short blonde girl walks up to me.

"I'm Clarke. Do you need something?" She asked.

"I know about EG. I need you to please keep my baby sister safe. Please."

"Your sister?"

"Harper Kane."

"I'll do my best," Clarke said walking off. She walks up to another girl and starts whispering, pointing to me. The other girl turns and looks at me. It is Harper I realize as she starts jumping and waving like mad. I waved one more time and turn around. She can't see the tears that wet my cheeks. It will scare her. She needs to be brave.

Thoughts? Did you like it? Did you hate it? If you liked it you should read some of my other stories. If you hated it how can I make it better? Thank you for your input!
