Daina felt the tears leaking from her eyes. No one really loved her. All they said where lies! The girl barged into the bathroom, hurriedly closing it behind her, wiping her eye with the palm of her hand, letting out a sharp sob. She was only wanted for land. No one loved her. Opening a drawer, the lithuanian island rummaged around, finally finding the object of her hurry wih bleary eyes. Letting out another sob, she shrunk against the bathtub, bringing the object, a sharp, clean razor, to her wrist. Carefully dragging it vertically on her skin, Daina felt the tears of pain join her tears of lonliness. Another sob, another cut. No one loved her. No one would care. She was only a piece of rock and had no real meaning to them but that. A piece of rock. Her tear filled eyes watched the thick substance ooze from her wrist. Then she began to sob. She cried, letting hundreds of years of pent up and held back feelings overwhelm her. The noise erupted from her throat, pushing up her throat, and exploding from her mouth. Sobbing, and cutting, getting blood on her clothes and face but not really giving a shit. If someone cared, she wouldn't have to do this.

"Nida?" A german accent asked, and Daina realized that she hadn't locked the door.

"Get out!" She screamed, throwing a shampoo bottle that was near her at the offending man behind her. She tried to cover her mouth and muffle the sobs that came forth but it didn't help. Squeezing her eyes tight she brought her wrist to her chest.

"Please, Germany, leave." She whispered quietly. Another sob and more pain. No one loved her. She was only land. Daina's heartbeat stopped when she heard the bathroom door close. Only land. Another sob renched itself out of her mouth, and the girl made no move to hold it back, fumbling blindly for her razor once again. And then strong arms that smelled of sausage and dogs wrapped around her.

"Daina, whats wrong?" Germany whispered into her ear, and the small island gasped.

"I...Aš..." She let out another sob, covering her mouth with her left hand. And Germany gasped against her neck, making the young girl flinch.

"Dai-...Ni-..." He struggled, grabbing her wrist and turning her around. "Nida, what have you done to yourself?" The island let out another sob. He wrenched her chin to look up at his face.

"Daina.." He muttered. "Why are you doing this?" The girl sobbed harder.

"N-n one..." She hiccuped. "No one loves me" this was uttered in barley above a whisper, but the blonde man had heard non the less.

"Nida" He whispered, pulling her to his chest and stroking the blnde hair just like her sister's. "Never, ever, think that no one loves you. And don't, ever, inflict pain on yourself again. Promise?" Daina looked up at him, her blue eyes still watery with tears. Not trusting her voice, the girl merely nodded, and rested her head against her former caretaker's chest once again. Pressing his lips against the girl's head, Germany closed his eyes.

Sniffling and sipping at the hot chocolate Germany had made for her, Daina felt much better. Putting down the cup, she looked up at the stotic german personification, who smiled and ruffled her hair.
