Sheets Tinted Red
Let me tell you dear reader, a simple tale of words left unsaid
Of silk and sweat and lofty dreams and of sheets tinted red
A story of secrets that most undoubtedly will now unfurl
Of a stoic, strong leader man and a troubled but soft rebel girl
Was it a sense of betrayal that brought them together?
A torrent of change that left naked flesh felt through leather.
Or was it a kinship that brought this lust home ?
Two beings with powers that lacked all control.
An end to all false pretenses, denials, and lies
He could not touch her flesh, She could not see his eyes
The troubled girl made whole again by this volcano of desire
The stoic man set free again as he shuddered deep inside her
There was no talk of promises; no question or demands
No fear of tomorrows repercussions; of read minds or clawed hands
No talk at all from these two beings whose powers lacked control
Just an understanding that they had somehow become one whole
And with this notion realized, a new day had dawned ahead
Four hands and two souls intertwined on sheets tinted red
