Flying in the Wind
Yesterday spot in the sky were un-human like figures in the air. Eye Witnesses said that it was the sun god Apollo. "I was just walking down the street with my groceries, and I looked up in the sky and there I saw what looked like people with wings, I was so shocked I dropped my groceries" says Silena Bueraguard, one of our eye witnesses. But guess who it really was Daedalus the architect who had worked for king Minos and his son Icarus.
Falling
"It was just horrible the poor kid's wings had started to fall apart and WHAMO there he was falling into the sea" said Travis Stoll.
It had been unfortunate Icarus , Daedalus' Son, had died trying to fly. He had flown to high to the sun and melted the wax from his wings.
The Mastermind Himself
We had an interview with Daedalus.
Me: What do you think you were trying to do? Daedalus: I just wanted escape prison so I made wings for me and my son. Me: How did that turn out for you and your son? Daedalus: Not very well unfotunatly. My son died trying and I've just hung up my wings forever. Me: Do you think you've learned your lesson? Daedalus: Yes, yes I have. I guess I just wanted to surpass the intelligence of the gods. Me: Thank you very much for this interview. May I ask what you did with your wings? Daedalus: Oh, I hung them up as a offering to Apollo.
Conclusion
It seems like Daedalus has learned his lesson,
never to surpass the intelligence of the gods again.
