I was able to see. Maybe not perfectly but enough to get good glimpses. Right now I saw Cloud climb in his bed, patting the spot next to him.
"I'm laying down, come next to me."
I smiled and got up and sat next to him, in my normal T-shirt and panties. It was my usual attire if they catch me at night. I settled down and laid next to him, facing him.
Moments passed by, his arms around me and mine around him. Just listening to each other breathe. After awhile he shifted.
"Lauren. I mean this when I say it...I love you."
My heart skipped but I smiled.
"Cloud...I love you too." I told him with my heart. I hope he felt it too.
We nuzzled closer and I silently watched his relaxed face. I brushes his hair away from his face and lightly kissed him on the cheek. His eyes opened and looked at me, those big blue eyes. He smiled.
"Here is one in return."
He kissed my cheek as well. His lips on my skin made it tingle. One day I hoped to share this with him. I wanted so bad to kiss him, but I refrained for his sake. I know he got uncomfortable. And I understood it but that didn't mean it didn't hurt. But that was okay. The pain is worth the gain.
After a few more moments like that he nuzzled into my breasts. I blushed but nuzzled him back, loving this with every fiber of my being.
"I'm sleepy." he said softly.
I patted his head, stroking it.
"Then sleep. I'll stay here. Sleep, Cloud."
He then slowly fell asleep. I heard Vinny call me from back home to bring me back. I told him to hold on. Silently slipping from under his grip I kissed what I hoped was his lips, but I wont probably ever be shure. Then Vincent whisked me back home, and I still yearned to sleep with Cloud all night.
