Love is the slowest form of suicide, a harry potter fanfic

Once apon a time...

Okay, so maybe this story isnt a cute fairytale with a happy ending. No this is the story of harry potter, former saviour. Voldemort is currently dead, or so everyone thinks. Perhaps this is a twisted love story of sorts....as our saviours hero, is truely his enemy. It is currently the year 2003, and Harry Potter is 10 years old.

Stretching his arms above his head until his fingertips touched the ceiling, Harry yawned. Petunia would be banging on the cupboard door, yelling for breakfast to be cooked. Harry held no loving feelings towards his so-called family. But Harry didn't dare to disobey.

Harry also knew he was different than the other children, especially his whale of a cousin. He knew and thought things no 10 year old should. He knew because of a man named Tom Riddle, whose thoughts, goals, and memories flitted through Harry's mind. Harry knew his parents were dead, not from a drunken accident, but by defying the Dark Lord. Harry thought them fools.

A sudden loud thumping startled Harry from his pondering. The door to his cupboard was jerked open, and his aunts horse-like face appeared. "Your uncle, cousin and I are going on a trip. You are to stay in this house! No noise and no strangeness, understand boy!" Harry nodded watching as she slammed the cupboard door shut once again. But he heard no click...Hadn't she locked him in? Grinning Harry lay down on his thin mattress, deciding to wait til they where gone to try the door.

He soon fell asleep dreams teeming with images of dark hair, and crimson eyes.
