"N-No...Katsuya..you c-can't die.." Kaiba said softly, tears streaming down his pale face as Katsuya coughed, blood dripping down his lips and his stomach. "D-Dragon..I'm n-not gonna m-make it.." He said softly.

How could it have come to this, a simple walk in the park turned into a tragic loss for two lovers.

Earlier That Night

"Come on Seto! I wanna see the stars!" He said super hyped. Kaiba rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Calm down Jou.." He smiled and kissed him gently, that familiar warm feeling flowing through both of them.

"Come on! I am taking you to my special tree!" He ran off, smiling and sat down next to an old cherry blossom tree, pink petals scattered and a beautiful starry night in view, Katsuya had been leaning against his tree and Kaiba joined him.

"Seto..isn't this wonderful?" He asked softly and Kaiba nodded, holding Katsuya. "Indeed, where did you find such a place?" He asked in minor perplexment.

Katsuya smiled. "My sister and I found this place a long time ago, we used to come here to get away from our mother and father fighting.." He sighed softly.

Kaiba held him close and kissed his temple. "Katsuya..I love you.." Katsuya smiled widely. "I know you do Set-" There was a gunshot heard and a cried pain from Katsuya.

Kaiba was in shock as the blonde's blood was seeping out all over Kaiba, when Kaiba finally got control of his body the person who shot Katsuya had fled.

"K-Katsuya.." Jou was coughing and gasping, they had hit him right near the heart.
"S-Seto..I-I..I see light..I-I..I am dying.." Seto started to feel tears welling up as he called the ambulance. "Don't you die on me Kat, you're strong!" He cried out, pain filling up his own heart as the thought of losing his partner scared him.

"S-Seto..m-my Dragon...I l-love y-you.." He said softly. "O-One more kiss.." Kaiba had placed a soft kiss to Katsuya's lips, tears dripping onto the blondes face.

"T-Take care of Shizuka for me.." He said softly, Kaiba was sobbing.

"P-Puppy.." He sobbed out and held the boy, his heart had stopped as the faint sound of ambulance sirens rang in the beautiful deep starry night under the red stained cherry tree.
