It's Not What You Think

Issun had come up to the Celestial Plain for vist. Ammy had picked him up three days ago. He recently woke up from a nap in the field and was looking for Ammy.

"Hello! Anyone home?" He called as he bounced through the door of her house.

He could hear voices coming from another room. He bounced down the the hall and stopped outside the room the voices were coming from.

"I can't do this Waka, I changed my mind." He heard Ammy say through the door.

"Relax ma cherie, you'll be fine." Waka said.

Issun's eyes widen in horror as he continues to listen.

"I mean it sounded fun at first but not so sure." Ammy continues.

"Don't worry, it'll be alright."

"But what if I do it wrong?"

"You won't."

There was a thump and a low groan from inside the room.

"I told you!" Ammy cried.

"No you're doing fine, I'll help you, just put your hands here."

Giggles.

"What's so funny?"

"Hehe, they're so hard~"

A sigh. "Ready to try again?"

"I guess so..."

'thump' 'thump' another low groan and more giggling.

"Sorry! Gha! Let's just stop."

"Why?"

"Cause, I mean it looks so easy when you do it but I just can't."

"You're doing just fine, remember practice makes perfect."

"Ok but this time hold my waist."

More thumping and giggling.

"That's it!" Issun yelled, bouncing into the room. "Leave Ammy alone ya half-baked pro- hu?" Standing in the middle of the room is Waka and Ammy.

"What are you going on about now?" Ammy asked, giving a unsteady sway.

'What's going on in here?" He asked, eyes darting between the two.

"Waka was teaching how to walk in his shoes." She said, gesturing to her feet to show that she was indeed wearing Waka's stilted sandals.

"Then what was all that thumping and groaning?"

"I kept falling..." she muttered.

"But I heard you say 'they're so hard.'"

"I was talking about his shoulders, stupid."

"Oh..."

"Anymore questions?"

"No."

"Wait, what did you think we were doing?"

Issun's glow turned pink. "Nothing." he muttered, and quickly bounced out.
