Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter, since I'm not like, thirty or forty or whatever J.K is.

A/N: I know this has been written like a million times before, but I did it anyway. Live with it. And yes, I think Albus would go to Slytherin. All of them going to Gryffindor would be way too boring..

Albus was nervous. More than nervous, he was terrified.

"Albus Severus Potter!" Professor Longbottom called. Albus forced his legs to walk up the stairs. His heart was beating way too fast in his chest.

He sat down on the old chair (everything was old in Hogwarts), and took a deep breath. Every eye was on him, he knew, and he tried to ignore them, and focus on whatever the hat was gonna say. Professor Longbottom placed the hat on his head, and Albus closed his eyes.

Well, what do we have here? Another Weasley-child? And certainly, Harry Potter's child. You have a great mind, I see, and even greater ambitions. Perhaps, Ravenclaw…No, you are smart, but there are things more important to you than wits. Ah, yes: SLYTHERIN!

Albus froze. His eyes opened in shock, and he could see the rest of the Great Hall responding the same way. People began whispering, and even Professor Longbottom had to clear his throat a little, before regaining enough sense to take the hat off of his head.

Albus was in shock, but his father had told him that it didn't matter if he got into Slytherin. He had told him about Severus Snape, the man he was named after. Albus did want to be as brave as him. So, he slipped of the chair, and walked down the stairs towards the Slythein table, where they were cheering for him.

He took his seat beside an older Slytherin with dirty blonde hair, who was staring at him like he had seen a ghost. Albus ignored him. He looked around in the Great Hall, and saw everyone was still staring at him. He blushed, and focused on the boy across the table. The boy saw him looking, and smiled.

"Scorpius Malfoy" he said, outstretching his hand. Albus took it, and smiled as well.

"Albus Severus Potter" he answered.

Everyone in the Great Hall just stared even more at this. Some even passed out. A Potter and a Malfoy becoming friends? The world truly was dissolving.
