This is a short fic with only dialogue... just a little drabble I came up with while watching "Decoy Effect". Yes, for those of you who have read "Fragile", it is my favourite eppesode. I have had feedback telling me that there is some confusion between Don and Colby's dialogue, and I've tried to clear it up but if anyone else has any more problems, do tell me where and why, so I can make it more reader friendly. Sometimes what works in my own head doesn't quite fly with the rest of the world.

"Hey Don, what do you think of the new guy?"
"Colb, these bags aren't tagging themselves."
"I can multitask."
"What, the new guy Nikki?"
"Don, what other new guy is there?"
"Don't roll your eyes at me. Remember that I am your boss."
"Yeah, yeah. So what do you think about her?"
"I think she's okay."
...
"What, that's it?"
"You need more? She's good at chasing down papertrails and beating people up, a bit like you. She returns her paperwork on time, unlike you. She has the makings of a potentially great agent."
"Uh boss... not what I meant."
"Huh?"
"Man, you're seriously telling me that you're not seeing that ass?"

"I haven't looked."
"Sure you haven't."
"What? I haven't!"
"Don, you've been single for months."
"So?"
"There's a good chance here..."
"Listen, I've already dated a woman I worked with."
"Liz doesn't mind. I think she has a thing for David."
"I kno- really?"
"No. But she really doesn't mind."
"I don't want to date Nikki, either."
"Sure you don't."
"I don't!"
"Come on. The hair."
"Pardon?"
"The lips."
"Now this is getting ridiculous."
"I wouldn't mind keeping her under my desk."

"If you know what I mean."

"Do you know what I mean?"
"Colby, the table knows what you mean."
"What?"
"I know what you mean but I do not agree."
"You like her, don't you?"
"No!"
"Don, it was definitely the cover-up that gave you away.
"There is no cover-up."
"Yeah, that's what they told Mulder."
"This is slightly different, Colb."
"What do you think of her then?"
"I already said. She's okay."
"Physically?"

"Don, you have to answer."
"No I don't."
"Ow! Now you're just being childish."
"No I'm not."
"Answer or I'll tell everyone you think she's smokin' hot."
"I don't think that she's-"
"Yes she is. Admit it. Smokin' hot."
