"Sir is there anyone inside?!" Johnny questions the man who appeared in his forties as they stood outside his home that the front portion was being engulfed by flames. They had arrived prior to the truck having gotten the call on their way back from a possible heart attack; it was just gas. The man looks as if he's about to say something but stops only shaking his head back and forth.

"Robert your dad! Where is he?" What Johnny assumed was a neighbor comes rushing up. Johnny has to hold her back from approaching any closer just as window breaks from the pressure.

"Sir is there someone in the house?!" He asks again. It wasn't that uncommon in the shock of the moment to go blank on little details; including where family members were at the time. But there was something about him that left Johnny uneasy. Untrusting. How he was glaring at the neighbor wasn't helping.

"Yes. His dad lives there. He had a stroke a few months back. They should've placed him in a long care…"

"Roy! There's someone inside!" He pulls away from the two yelling at his partner. They exchange looks. Despite their oath to do no harm and do everything possible the flames were too intense to enter. They could only hope the rest of 51 would get there before the entire house was unsurviable. And hope Robert's father was in the furthest side of the house from the flames.

A few minutes later the truck arrives and the paramedics suit up having informed others of the situation. the smoke is thick. Water from the hoses being sprayed around them in all directions. They have to feel the walls to find their way to where they assumed the bedrooms were.

"There." Roy states pointing to a closed door at where they had hoped, the last one at the hall The air was slightly more clear. They pull open the door and gasp an unison. They found a man in this 80′s laying in a bed. Thin as a rail. Bone thin. The stench was of feces and rotting flesh. Even through the slight haze they could see he was covered in sores. His leg the worst of all.

"Sir you'll be okay." Johnny says rushing over the man. Whom didn't see to hear or understand anything. He had a stroke a few months ago he recalls the neighbor revealing.

"We found him. We need a stretcher guys." Roy speaks into his radio.

"How?" Johnny questions to Roy. Knowing he won't have the answer.
