All he could think about was a nice warm bed. That thought lasted about a millisecond in Harry's head before a new thought, or need (he wasn't sure) drifted in to his head. GINNY WEASLY. Harry loved Ginny so much, more than anything and everything in the entire world. He needed to tell her. He needed to see her make sure she was all right. So he abruptly turned around and started off towards the great hall. Involuntarily he flinched as he walked in expecting someone to look over at him. No one did. He had forgotten he was still was wearing the invisibility cloak. Immediately Harry took advantage of this fact and ghosted his way across the great hall to the Ravenclaw table to where Ginny sat resting her head on Mrs. Weasly's shoulder. He leaned down and whispered in her ear," Ginny, can you meet me in the common room in ten minuets."
She replies with a small nod and a little smile. Harry smiles, straitening up he walks swiftly out of the room.
As he approaches the fat lady he confesses
" I have no idea what the password is."
" Today," she replies "we are all one school and one group of people anyone can
go in".
" Thank you "
" Of course "
Harry climbed into the portrait hole and walked over to his favorite couch and laid down know no matter how tiered he was he would never be able to fall asleep. The images of Voldemort and all the people that are dead still so fresh in his mind. He thought about Ginny and how mad she would be when she came up. But he thought it was worth it. He loved her so much and he needed to tell her. He needed to know if she loved him. He thought of her fiery red hair with its orange and gold highlights and her smile. Her smile lit up the room. It could and often did make his day. He was still rapped up in his thought when he heard the portrait close again. He got up only to fall back down again when Ginny tackled his. Her red hair was draping over her shoulders and down on onto Harry's chest. She raised her hand slowly and brought it down in a mock slap.
"HARRY POTTER" she whisper/screamed "how dare you be such a noble git." she continued. She lay her head down onto Harry's chest and began to sob. Harry brought his hands up and rapped his arms around Ginny's waist.
"I'm so sorry Ginny I only broke up with you to protect you."
"Why did I need protection?"
"I was afraid that if Voldemort found out he would... " Harry gulped unable to finish the sentence. "So what if he did kill me." Ginny replied, "It wouldn't have mattered." Harry stared at her as if he was in pain.
"It would make all the difference Ginny. I don't know what I would do if I didn't know you were safe... I used to take out the maunders map just to watch you sleep. I needed to know you were alive." Harry took a deep breath. "I love you Ginerva Weasley, so much."
"I love you to Harry Potter, more than anything."
Ginny lifted her head of Harry's chest "Harry," she asked quietly, "please tell me everything, I want to hear it all." Harry sighed he didn't want to scare her he didn't want her to get mad at him or anyone else. Harry took a deep breath and started. He told her about Dumbledore's will, the attack in the muggle restaurant, Ron leaving, and Godric's Hollow, Ron coming back. He told about how he found he sword. He told her about Xenophilius Lovegood's house, going to Malfoy Manor. Shell Cottage, and Gringotts and riding the dragon. How Snape died and the finding out he was the last Horcrux. The resurrection stone.
"Ginny, you're the last face I saw the last thing I thought about, you mean the world to me Ginerva Weasley." Then he kissed her softly. Ginny pulled him closer and the kiss became more passionate. When the finally broke apart he whispered in her ear,
"I'll always love you."
