Another original Jay-Jay story, this time it's "Old Oscar Gets a Cold" with added lines by tate310. Enjoy and comment.

It was wintertime at Tarrytown Airport. Thick blankets of crisp, white snow covered the ground.

Despite the snow, all the airplanes still continued to work hard.

Old Oscar, the old bio-plane, couldn't work in the snow, so he was staying in the nice, warm hangar.

Occasionally, Brenda Blue came to check in on him.

"Are you alright in here Oscar?" asked Brenda Blue.

Old Oscar sighed.

"I'm fine, but I wish I can play in the snow." said Old Oscar.

"You can play in the snow later." said Brenda Blue. "As for now, why don't you take a little rest?"

"Sure thing!" replied Old Oscar.

So Brenda Blue quietly walked away, and Old Oscar closed his eyes, and went to sleep.

Later that day, Jay-Jay the blue jet plane came over to see Old Oscar.

"Hey Jay-Jay!" said Old Oscar. "Is it time to play in the snow?"

"It sure is!" exclaimed Jay-Jay.

And so Jay-Jay and Old Oscar went out to play in the snow.

But the next morning, there was a problem.

Old Oscar didn't feel like himself at all, and was sneezing.

"Oh dear." thought Jay-Jay." "Old Oscar is feeling ill."

Tracy and Snuffy were nervous too.

At last, Brenda Blue arrived.

"Is everything alright?" she asked.

Old Oscar let out a loud sneeze.

Brenda Blue went over and checked him all over.

"I think you have a cold Oscar." she said.

Old Oscar was sad. He rarely got sick.

"It's not your fault, and there's nothing to be sad about. It's because of all the germs that are going around."

"Who's going to take care of me?" asked Old Oscar.

"Would you like Jay-Jay to take care of you?"

"Okay." sighed Old Oscar.

Jay-Jay took care of Old Oscar all day, and in no time Old Oscar was better.

Old Oscar has learned to be careful not to get sick, especially during the winter months.
